Service was pretty good. At the time of check-in, we were provided w/ city map, city guide and tour information that was really helpful for us, Prague beginners. And also the location is marvelous. We could see the old town square and the road of King from the room and felt we’re just in the heart of Prague. Almost everything... - Location - Hotel Stuff immediately swapped one of our rooms, without hesitation or complaints - Early Check in - Late check out (it is not a myth!!!). Got the room very early (7.00 am) and left the room at 8.00 pm. - Room 33.

The room, the atmosphere, the breakfast and the library/bar were more than I had ever imagined. I will definitly come back again for a longer stay. Location was excellent and the hotel was very cosy and comfortable, hotel staff was very friendly. We also liked early check-in and late check-out without any problems. If we would go to Prague again we would stay at this hotel!!!. The really excellent service from check in to breakfast to excursions to check out. Being able to make a cup of tea or coffee in our room would be brilliant (we prefer a hot drink to go to bed with rather than a cold drink), but we are aware that this is a very British institution!. Price. Staff not so friendly. Two beds instead of one! Ventana cannot afford one king size bed? Location of the bed-for people with arthritis it's not convibient!. Small, dark lobby. Did not have a room with promised view - in fact, no view at all. Service was patchy - some great, some mediocre. I needed an iron and was told that I couldn't have one as pressing was a paid service offered by the hotel. In the end I got the iron, but it left a bad taste...

The Ventana Bar is situated in a 5 storey atrium with an artistic interior design and polished teak wood floor, with a glass strip running down its length to provide the lobby with natural light. The Swarovski Crystal hand cut chandelier, dramatic and delicate, hangs from the ceiling of the atrium featuring rippling ruby glass and tentacles as long as 6 feet in length.
