Several practising monks still live in a separate part of the monastery. Exclusive tours of the Church’s magnificent private library will be provided on request. All spacious rooms and suites feature a range of decorative accessories inspired by early 20th century Czech cubism and are individually furnished. They provide stunning views of Prague, the adjacent monastery church and the Prague Castle. Completely refurbished in 2009, structures such as vaulted ceilings and original doors have been kept. The Augustine Restaurant serves dishes created with seasonal ingredients in addition to the hotel’s own St. Thomas Beer. The menu is complimented by an international wine list. The Refectory 1887 Bar is located in the monastery’s former refectory and the St. Thomas Brewery is set in the former monastery brewery building. Augustine Hotel’s spa features a hammam, a sauna, steam room, relaxation area and a fully-equipped gym.

Everything. We could not fault one aspect of the hotel. Staff extremely pleasant, helpful and attentive. Hotel immacuately clean. Decor excellent. Food delicious. The location was perfect, walking distance to Prague castle compound and other attractions. The hotel was quiet and stylish. Staff was nice. Nothing. The rooms were so small and windows tiny. Service didn't match upto the facilities.
