Very Good place to stay, outside city & tourist rush, but a walking distance to majority of Prague's historic attractions - on the right, across the bridge: city center, old town. Left: The Gardens. 200 m ahead gets u to Kampa's Island, and Charles Bridge. Further uphill u find yourself in Prague's Castle - although this may not be easy for all. If u want to skip the military drill uphill, the other option is : u go 3 tram stops uphill from Mala Strana, and start your tour downhill. Satisfa.
all reviews » I have stayed in Prague Holiday Apartments at March 2013 and discovered that it’s a very attractive and comfortable place to stay in Prague. It’s placed in a beautiful old building, with great looking foyer. My apartment was wide and very comfortable. Separated bedroom and living room with kitchen annex makes my stay really pleasant. It’s just at Jiraskov Bridge, about 10’-15’ walk to Charles Bridge, near to restaurants, tramp’s stations and more. The receptionists were very helpful, starts wit. 1, What impressed you when you have decided on PRAGUE HOLIDAY APARTMENTS? The location colse to city centre and close to the river, with at nice view, combined with the very reasonable price. Sure we will recommend this place to others and hopefully be back for another stay. 2, What did you like most? The location, the well equipped kitchen, good beds, nice bathtub with powerful water massage, the balcony with a view to the riverside, nice poster wall with pictures from old streets in Prague,. The receptonist (I didnt actually know her name) was so lovely and helpful and gave us voluntary information on the things to see and do in Prague. The space was amazing, so quiet - ie no street noise which was perfect for a relaxing trip. It was a short walk to the metro station and to all the big tourist attractions but got you out of the hustle and bustle at the end of the day. They gave us a little gift of Beer when we arrived, and also we got another gift of Wafers - a specialty of the . We loved the holiday apartment for its space, location near old Prague (Pahah) city center, views of the river, away from the loud city in quiet city area, close to castle and churches, great walking along the river. the highlight of our trip was staying in your apts. and enjoying the river and city views. we would recommend this to others and already have recommended to friends going to Prague. Also the desk staff were very helpful and it really helped that they spoke English so well. Thank yo. I stayed here with 3 friends and we loved it! We had fantastic views over the city from our apartments. The staff in reception couldn't do enough to help and the transfers to and from the airport they arranged were on time and reasonable! Very clean and spacious accommodation with all you need. The staff even left us 4 small Czech beers on arrival and some traditional Czech wafers the next day! They are about 15/20 mins walk to the Charles bridge and other sights. Prague is a must and would def. Everything was perfect. The building was amazing and the apartment size was really unexpected. It looked good from the website but when we got there, it looked even better. I also liked the fact that we could get in and out any time and the possibility to have 2 copy of the keys and the flexibility given for the check out on the last day to stay a bit longer. The staff was extremely friendly and the apartment was very clean. We loved our stay at Prague Holiday Apartments. The apartment was spacious and clean. The apartment was ideally placed for sightseeing. The staff we wonderful. We liked the fact that the building have a reception and were impressed with the friendliness and support provided by the staff at reception. We would certainly recommend Prague Holiday apartments to anyone thinking of going to Prague. I'm still waiting for the catch. This room/apartment was incredible. Huge layout, kitchen, tub with jets (though I couldn't figure out how to keep them on), balcony overlooking the Vltava river, 3 free beers, a parting gift, and really helpful and sweet receptionist. We paid less than half the price we paid for our so-so room in Amsterdam. Paid in cash, no credit card required. Amazing. We were treated very well. There was some problem with the room we booked, so they moved us to the Cathedral Praque Apartments, which is located just near to the main square. We didn't have to pay more for this room even though it was more expensive, they paid us a taxi also. The room was quiet, cosy and very pretty. We will definitely stay there again if we come back to Praque. The balcony and the birds outside. The location, though rather far from the historical center of the city (not that far, but the daily walk took around 25 minutes), was really great thanks to the nearby park, clean air and the birds singing outside. The room was clean and spacious, had all the necessary facilities (but the washing machine and - which is worse - the iron). Fantastic apartment along the river! I highly recommend staying here. Hotel very easy to find,we arrived to Prague by train and we're allowed check in at half ten in the mornin,so the staff were very accommodating. The welcome beers were a great touch. Hotel is a very minute walk along the river to Charles bridge.. in a really quiet area so no disturbances.excellent stay and I would definitely go back. The entrance, once we opened the plain brown door, WOW !! The space in the apartment was good. It was very clean. Plenty electric plugs. Great value for money. Great apartments. For a couple of days we had lost the tv signals, but maybe it was our own fault. We got them back on the last evening. The dish washer was not working during the whole stay. We told it in the reception. The toaster said pooooff when we used it on the second morning, and after that it did not work. Hard to find any faults. only issue was the dish washer was full of dirty dishes and smelled when we arrived. Easily solved. No iron in the room, reception have 1 but had lent it to another guest when we needed it!. I have nothing bad to say about our stay at the Prague Holiday Apartments. Everything was just great!!. Nothing. Our room in the Cathedral Prague Apartments was pretty small and there were two single beds put together instead of one double bed. There was no air condition so it got warmer in the afternoons. Internet was slow. The bed was two single beds pushed together and were quite soft,slightly annoying but not a deterrent. The lack of shower gel etc in bathroom was a hindrance when we arrived but as they are apartments we found a convenience store down the road and got everything we needed. It was hot in Prague, but we could not open windows as it was too noisy outside. The bed was soft but it was hot to sleep without airconditioner with closed windows. Internet login was really annoying. Very unstable wi-fi connection. The Ikea furniture doensn't match the high quality look of the building. Not really a major issue but the bedroom is furnished in the attic so the single beds are a bit close to the roof. Can be managed by moving the beds a little though. Maybe if there was a breakfast room, it would be convenient. Location a little further from city center, but close enough to walk to Charles bridge or Old Towne in 15 min or take nearby tram!. Wireless internet signal available only on lobby or bathroom. Ventilation system on bathroom needs improvement. the hotel only accept cash,my friend had to find ATM and paid high commision to get cash. Bathroom door wouldn't shut in apt 504. Other than that, great quiet apartment in a beautiful setting. Wireless internet is a bit spotty in the apartments... Wifi and TV/Satellite signals kept dropping - they mentioned they will fix these after my feedback. Bathroom are clean yet would like the same level of attention to detail, like other parts of the apartment. These are to remind travelers - No breakfeast (as known) - Pillow and matress is a bit soft, some might not find comfortable. The included wi-fi could be very slow usually between 8pm-11pm. I guess everyone is in their apartment at that time and it slowed down the connection speed. Otherwise, absolutely no complaints. Mattress. A bit more work surface in the kitchen would be good. Think this might be coming as they have only just opened. We stayed in the apartment right next to reception. It was a bit noisy, especially when other guests drag their luggage and stoke them against the stairs and floor or when someone rang the bell. It was disturbing, but fortunately this did not happen when we were sleeping. Other little issue was wi-fi. We often missed the wireless connection Transfer taxi service offered by hotel: there are other cheaper companies. Taxi driver didn't return 50 crowns and did not accept euros. No lights in halls while ascending stairs Very deep tub which I liked but difficult to get out of Floor very slippery If you have difficult with stairs do not stay here Steep stairs one flight to reach Elevator Roof leaked with the terrible storm. I woke up with rain on. My face The place has a hot plate and cheap microwave Bring your own soap. They only take cash payment to be paid on arrival which meant carrying a lot of cash during journey there. The bathroom door which screeched on opening and closing. The kitchen part was a bit crowded, a separate shelf for microwave, coffee maker and kettle would be much better - and safer. That you can´t pay with credit card. -No curtains in the bedroom, which meant an early morning wake up with the sun. -Top floor, slanted ceilings required care to not hit head. The only disadvantage is absence of parking but there is a hotel nearby that can provide parking services. The mattress was very uncomfortable, was just a big piece of foam!!! And in the bathroom there isn't the shower!!!. There is no breakfast option - Internet / wifi was not very good. Payment in cash only !.
