The best location: near two central metro stations,in the center of city, two next door shops where you can buy food and drinks, and cosmetics (operating till 11 P.M.), elevator inside, huge kitchen with dishwasher, plate and stove, microwave, washing mashine, refrigerator, a lot of dishes. all reviews » I love this hostel. The room of 8 girls is quite big. And they have laundry drying rack that you can borrow. So you can hang dry the clothes in the room. They also hold activities every night(some are free). I enjoyed the easter eggs painting activity and the Czech soup cooking activity. The staff is very nice and helpful. Big supermarket, Tesco, is just few blocks away. Also there is small supermarket right next door. Free computers with internet. This is a hostel not too big, so it offers an . - location is great. A 7 minute walk to Charles bridge and all the happenings. - 5 minute walk into Old Town - Close to the shops, bars, and restaurant. - relatively close to the train station. - Good internet connection - Clean rooms. - Good size private rooms - Breakfast was included on my final day check out. the staff was very friendly the location couldn´t be any better, almost every interest point can be reached within 5-10mins of walking it has several daily activities for the guests, like beer tasting, cooking your own dinner (free if you really apply yourself), etc... There is no air conditioning in the building and in the summer heat you can suffocate in their without air circulation. However I asked the staff for a fan and they gave me the one in their office...really helped out. I hated the shower since you had to constantly push the button to keep the water running...and them you couldn't even change the temperature. When I first arrived my room smelled very funky and not good so I had to keep the windows open and buy air freshener. A little expensive too. Not enough plug sockets in rooms. If you have several devices to charge, better to take multiplug. -it is a bit expensive -they turn the heat off from 11am to 7 pm,. No issues at all. It's a great hostel!. The bathroom was shared by 2 rooms and not only 1 room (8 beds) as advertised. - Walls are very thin, you can hear everything. - Also neighborhood of the hotel felt a bit dodgy. A lot of drunk but harmless people. Nothing. Some unpolite neighbours arriving totally drunk and screaming for a while in the middle of the night, each single night during a weekend. The rooms are not sthetically a wonder. The heater was not working properly. I have highlighted to the staff when I first checked-in. The heater worked when we returned to the hostel at night. But when we woke up in the morning, we were freezing cold. I am not sure if the heater was manually turned off centrally or it is something wrong with the heater. Nothing. Towel deposit. Noisy building works accross the road. Renovations to hostel kitchen area so there was no cooking facilities available. The service inside is awfull and the crew was very unkind. The noise from the street on Saturday night from drunken revellers. Haha but this is to be expected.
