the food, the comfort and of course the price i paid for my stay. Affordable yet close heart of city. Pleasant friendly staff.Room was very big and comfortable. Very clean and nice view outside. We stayed at the hotel for several days as the final destination of a tour organised by EF Tours in the USA. I emailed the hotel to extend my stay by one day and they quoted me a three figure price for just one more night. I said I would have to search for other accomodations as the fee was too much. The clerk suggested I call you. I found your rates to be reasonable and we kept the same rooms. Confort. For sure it's a good destination for a last minute smart price. But if you have to pay the full price, value for money become a controversial subject.. House keeping changes towels everyday!. The room, the breakfast. cheap and clean. Clean room. tourism. It was clean, and the breakfast was good. Location is 1.2Km uphill from Wenceslas Sq and easy to find. I didn't stay at City Club, but City Inn instead. The location of City Inn was fantastic.I didn't like anything about this hotel. Perhaps the very very realtivegood location. Public transportation (any) is 8 minutes away, which isarguably too much. good location. when i got to the hotel they did not have a reservation under my name, however when i showed my printed reservation they kindly accepted it, that makes my think about if i really can trust in booking.com reservation system. it's kind of far from downtown. Parking is something else. I was driving a Ford C-Max at that time and I had a hard time trying to not sweep off the side mirrors while driving through the narrow parking door.a little too cold, even if the heater was on the whole night. Distance frommthe old city. If the hotel's garage is full you can choose either an underground parking a little bit far from the hotel or to risk to let your car on a nearby street, hoping nobody will blocks your wheels.. If you don't leave the room exactly at 12, they block your access cards; fortunately the guy from the reception understood the traffic jam and do not charge us with a second night for few minutes in plus.. After check in we had been given to a "special" room for disabled people! But then they changed our room!. The unfriendly hotel staff. staff seemed to be unmotivated , breakfast area is small (hard to find a free place), few selection for breakfast available (and only for a short period of time). Breakfast room and liquid soap. Rooms are Basic with a capitol B. Staff could of been more approachable/freindly. Tea/Coffee facilities in the room would improve it no end!. They moved me to City Inn without informing us. One of the receptionist was extremely terrible, never seen a worse receptionist before, and probably won't see such a terrible one in the future (hopefully). Too much to mention. First of all the staff - not even one smile duringmy stay. On the first day we checked in a few hours earlier, but nobodytold us there is a problem. We were then demanded (rudely) to pay for anextra night. Eventually we didn'T. The room was not a double bed. It wastwo single beds connected. The rooms had no decent soap, and no shampoo.Sadly, there is much more to say. it's was very cold/frost in the room, not smoking area, the staff don't speak very well english. Staff is very impolite and not at all helpful or even willing to help. The site states that the hotel offers a airport shuttle service, which is not true!. The hotel is located on a very busy street, rather far from the metro station. Rooms are not so clean and extremely noisy because of the traffic of the street, the creaking doors and the sound of church bells every 15 minutes.
