Lokation is really great. Next to Vltava river, close to Charles Brodge. Staff speaking fluent English is kind and helpful. I rented a single room which was very clean and nice. Great vaule for money. The staff were super polite, very pleasant and helpful. Location was okay, about a 10-15 minute walk to the touristy center of the city. It was quite clean (for a hostel). was so shocked to be given a towel - nice surprise - wish that was better marked on the booking stub so I wouldnt have wasted the space in my bookbag bringing one.

I was staying in 8-persons room, that was quite pleasent and large enough to fit and nt squize all room-mates. There were teapot and cups in the room. The real fail is Wi-Fi too. letsbookhotel.com (or your hostel) took $10 before I arrived, and now it's well part as I checked out, but money still wasn't returned. Please return my $10!. Kitchen needs more attention and they need to have strict rules on using the kitchen so people are more respectful of the facility. The breakfast was a little poor, more diversity would be great. Wi-Fi does not work in the rooms. Mobile network is very low. Community restrooms, the staff are so rude. Negative Staff are NOT friendly and helpful at all. That's important for me. There is NO wi-fi connection in rooms, only at the reception. You have to take your sheet and pillowcase to the room and bring them down when you check out. The beds are poor and make a lot of noise in the night. Shared bathroom is not so clean and water cover the floor. Bathrooms were not clean, shower rooms were locked most of the time. There was no wifi, eventhough the review said they had free wifi service. Staffs are not friendly and helpful. The heater in room didn't work, so I asked the reception, and she just told me I had to do it myself, she couldn't help. Of course I know how to open the heater, I'm just trying to know if it's working or not. Why not just simply told me that it's already warm, so heater doesn't work???. wifi is available just downstairs in the reception. few bathrooms, no elevator, bad wifi. Having to pay key deposit. Although declared as non-smoking, it was as a smoking den. The smell was rooted in the bedding... Beds not comfortable. wireless? please don´t pretend... general comfort level of a really bad youth hostel watch out if you have allergies, the feather beds are centuries old. Beds where really uncomfortable and room was cold during the night. Not really value for money. The reception lady should get a training about dealing with people! You call that an internet connection???. no lift. the hostel is too crowded. Dirty, noise, people drinking in rooms and halls after 1am, no internet wifi in rooms, staff was helpful but useless at the same time, I ask how to get to the airport and the girl behind the counter had no clue!!. no heater now pretty cold in my room no breakfirst. I had to sleep in coat and cap, there was no heating, no warm water, the room was ugly (nothing similar to the pictures) and the price was bigger than on letsbookhotel.com Don't go there. Pretty dirty and really poor kitchen facilities. Staff charged us a higher value comparing to previous online reservation (we had to do a lot of talking to convince him about the right value). They do not accept euros and tell you to go change money at a close shop with terrible rate. To complete the front desk attendent gave me wrong change (he ripped off about 1 or 2 euros. It is not about the value but the "exploit the tourists" atittude). I would recommend Prague for a trip but do not stay at Chili Hostel. They did not deliver as promised. No wifi except for at the nose if the lobby!!! Even the computer room hv no internet. No entertainment. Smelly and dirty hotel. Hardly any place to stand in the room. Staff unfriendly and non apologetic. Will never never never recommend this hotel. it is the worst hotel i have ever seen. beds, sheets are dirty. every 24 people have to use one toilette and shower. everytime you have to wait other people to take a shower. Reception is umsympathetic. in a conclision it looks like a nightmare.

A security deposit of CZK 200 is required upon arrival for keys when staying in dormitory rooms, CZK 500 will be required in all other room types. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation. A damage deposit of EUR 20 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment.
