Excellent hotel in all respects! Very friendly and attentive stuff, special thanks to Ksenia at the reception desk (also speaks Russian) who arranged for us city tour excursion, tram tickets, money change. Quite location, perfect place for a family with kids since close to Luna park, Zoo (free of charge lift and pick up by hotel's car), large room, clean and comfortable, WiFi router in your room upon request. Great delicious breakfast. Apart words worth about sauna and spa, was excellent to rel.
all reviews » We though overall the Castle Residence was a great place to stay. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating to us and our young children. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant with the child's playroom and the 2 bedroom room we had was with big with plenty of space. The bathrooms were also nice and spacious. The location isn't in the city, but the free shuttle to the tram stop was only 5 min away and with a quick call the shuttle would pick us back up. All in all we would DEFINITELY recomme. Peaceful and quiet haven though free shuttle service to tram or metro gives quick connection to city. (Public transport clean, efficient and inexpensive - hotel even sells tickets) Staff very polite & helpful advice, all spoke English well. Special thanks to Jan & the team of drivers. Room spacious & immaculately clean. Breakfast buffet had good choice and available 7 - 10am. Pool & jacuzzi very welcome after long day sight-seeing. Towels & dressing gown provided in wellness. The best services I ever got in a hotel: - hotel offering car shuttle to the tram station and back; - providing tram tickets so that you don't have to look for selling points; - hotel offering car shuttle to and from the zoo (which, by the way is one of the nicest zoo's ever seen, even better than the one in Munich); - late check out at no additional cost - extremely important when you're travelling with a small child. Overall, a wonderfull stay. The staff and hotel were very nice. Room was extremely large, clean and provided nice views over parts of the outer city. Ride service to the tram\metro was very convenient and they were only a phone call away to pick us up upon our return, usually only needing to wait 5 minutes. They provide this service until 11pm, so worked out well after a long day of walking around Prague. Outstanding staff and immaculately clean facility. Location was an easy shuttle ride to the tram which serviced old town square. Hotel to old town took about 15 minutes. In-house bowling lanes and beautiful mini golf course were a bonus. Great restaurant on site. Free parking and free WiFi. Location: the hotel is not in the center, but thanks to the free shuttle service you reach the center in 15 minuts with the tram Facilities: good place to visit Prague with children, thanks to the pool, the playground and the mini golf Staff: very helpfull Rooms were very spacious. Renovated to a very high standard, on-site parking, pool and spa was great - even had a round of mini-golf (which we think should be free to hotel guests) We thought the restaurant food was very good with a good selection of wines and reasonably priced. This is an absolute gem of an hotel hidden away, but it has everything, good food friendly helpful staff, leisure facility good free parking, if your visiting Prague don't miss this one, it's fantastic. Pool was nice, Sauna ok. The only one complain: All channels on TV is in Czech language only :( For this kind of establishment it's a pity not to have a good, international network. The location was a bit out of the way, but the hotel and staff arranged transportation without any problems so we thought it was really worth staying outside the city!. Little difficult to find and somewhat outside the main parts of the city. They overcome the location by providing van rides to the trams or metro, which are only a few minutes away. (Would be difficult to walk, but fast\easy by car). Everything was excellent, would definitely recommend. Nothing. If you want to walk out of your hotel and have shops and other attractions on your door-step then don't stay here! It is in the suburbs - so hasn't got any local places of interest. Didn't bother us - after a day in the City we were glad to get back. We had to leave,. Nothing, the hotel and staff were great. The only thing is the distance to the city-centre althought it takes only 15 minutes to get there by a nice tramride. The bed was to hard. the rain..... Overpriced,location. It was dirty water in the Jacuzzi so you could not use it.
