The Hotel, staff and facilities were very good. the City is beautiful, very clean and all the people we met were very helpful and coureous. Large choice of services. It was very comfortable, we had a room at the front but very little noise could be heard from the street. Good Central location but still only 15 mins walk from the main railway station. There are two hotels Ambassador and Zlata Husa with different level of comfortability. no aircon ajusting. The view from the window of the room was not very good, we were facing the roof of the building next to the hotel, but the hotel was fully booked so it was ok after all.there was building work going on next door which made a lot of noise at breakfeast. the dining room staff didnt speak english when it suited them breakfast finished at 10 am and they removed all the food on the dot of 10am we were entitled to executive lounge and no one informed us of that. I have been charged of 19 Euro more than agreed on booking. The price this year is very high comparing to other brand name hotels. Yes, I'd like to mention that every morning when we left the room for the breakfast it was a terrible smell from the kitchen; and even more our clothes smell too after the that. The prices for food and drink where on the high side.restaurants were not good. during one week they did not once vacuum clean the room or wash the floor of the bathroom. cleaning service, poor accomodation according to the 5 star category. We specifically requested a non smoking room, however, our room stunk of smoke which was upsetting.Unfriendly and unprofessional staff. Cleaning not 100% in bathroom, a five star hotel should have sound proof rooms but I can hear the neighbour talking on the phone, breakfast not to a five star international standard. There are true five star hotels in Prague, in my opinion Ambssadr Zlata Husa should not be one of them.
