  After a weekend of alcoholic debauchery in Brno, my girlfriend and me had a last stop at Prague before leaving home. And really, this was such a difference compared to what we've experienced in Brno. The stop was the Golden Star hotel, a home from home with friendly personnel who helped us immediately. Not unlike what we experienced in Brno. Since... what people say » we booked a deluxe suite (room 33), we had the comfort and luxury of a real appartment just next to the main tourist attractions. Sure, the climb up - We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

  The room was amazing (de-luxe room) - even nicer in real life than the photos! And huge - spanning the whole of the 1st floor! The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Over all a fantastic hotel that added to a fantastic weekend! I would definately recommend to friends and family and if in Prague again would certainly stay ... what people say » at the Green Lobster again! - perfect position for a tourist in prague. our room was amazing - so much bigger and nicer than we had hoped. beautiful furniture, the breakfast was lovely, the staff were lovely. we stayed in a building across from the main reception which worried me initially but i really liked our room afterall

  First visit to Prague; we loved it. The city is simply a wonderful sight, everywhere you look. Once enormously wealthy. An experience staying in an old building. We had a spacious apartment but be prepared to carry suitcases upstairs. We arrived by car; left it at Hotel Pyramida car park. Walked everywhere and enjoyed every minute. Rooms are spacious,high ceiling, clean and comfortable, the old building brings a special atmosphere. Very very good location. Dining is easy coz this hotel also runs its own restaurant.   Absolutely loved this hotel. Didn't know it was a renovated convent. Very close, but extremely quite location. 3 minutes to the castle and about 5 to the St. Charles Bridge. Perfect, newer, quiet, clean and restful. I highly, highly recommend this hotel. I especially LOVED the breakfast area...3rd floor attic with tons of character. Wow! - Ha... what people say » ving travelled extensively and with a UK base in a 5* hotel, the Appia Residence cannot be faulted. It is an amazing place, impecably clean, quiet, extensive accomodation, dedicated and helpful staff> I cannot recommend this hotel too highly and we will certainly return and recommend it to our friends.
