Four renovated stylish old buildings are connected to form this place. Not all have a lift, ours fortunately had. Our place was not yet made up so the very helpful front desk offered our extremely spacious (4-bed) family appartment or a maisonette-style (4-bed) w/o lift in the building that hosts cafe/breakfast. We chose the former depite the short wait. Great, fully equipped kitchen area in a stylish living room. The location is only about 500m from the town square, the basement of one of its .
all reviews » This was a great Hotel. I booked it with my Father, we had an Apartment with seperate Bedrooms. The Service was very friendly, helpful and professional. They even booked for us a parking Lot in a different Hotel, because it was supervised. The Room is very big, modern, clean and comfortable. Leathersofa, Bathtub, seperate Toilet, Washing Machine, own closet Room for every Bedroom. We hab an Welcome Package (Some Tee and Coffee) on the Table for free (excluded from the Minibar) and also Shoes fo. Great location, only few meters away from the main city square and the tower. So the hotel is in the center of the old city of Budejovice. The best solution is to park your car at the central parking, 10 minutes walking away. When you get to the hotel you can park your car on the street in front of the hotel so you can leave your luggage and turn drive to the main parking. The hotel rooms/apartments are combination of modern and old. I really recommend this hotel and of course Budejovice. You s. Ours was a studio apartment at number 17 U Cerne Veze on the second floor. We did have a lift. We requested a quiet apartment and was given one overlooking the rooftops with a balcony. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and spacious. There was even a washing machine which was very welcome. The staff were helpful and spoke excellent English. The carpark was difficult to get to with all the one way streets but quite close to walk to down a little lane. Considering how difficult parking is,. This is the best staff ever! We didn't get the man's name at the reception, but we were late arriving, past the reception closing time and he came to greet us and let us in. We were treated so well. We had just arrived in the country so didn't have any coins for parking, so he leant us some money to pay for parking until the morning. This is hospitality at its finest. Apartment is huge, very clean and comfortable. You can't ask for more! All the [stylish] amenities you could want for a vacation - on a budget! A great place to set "home base" for a few days to travel around Southern Bohemia. The staff was warm and welcoming. The rooms were huge, extremely clean, and accommodating. It is located just off the city square. A five minute walk to any shopping and dining you could want. We highly recommend!. Make sure to ask for availability of a lift if you are in need of one. Breakfast selection was good for us only if we would order 4 different of the offered platters and get variety this way; for single travellers, choice would be more narrow. Parking is a bit awkward, close to the place you first need to find a space and then feed a meter if between 10am til 7pm. Or take the offer for low-cost parking in a facility some distance away. The Town itsself. But thats not the fault of the Hotel ;). Breakfast was not enormous but still ok. Nothing. No elevator so walk up three flights was tiring for us but once we had our luggage in the apartment the stairs were no problem. None. Three breakfast options probably could use a little more variation, especially when they're billed extra. A breakfast restaurant, at least not open early morning. Elevator missing in some part of building complex. NO airconditioning!!, parking was at least 10 mins from the hotel, we we at the top of three flights of stairs - carrying 45 lb suitcases was an exercise stress teat. there is no elevator!!! and we had to climb 3 floors (many many stairs) to the apartement with the suitcases and 3 kids. This is something you must know and take into consideration when you book!. Nothing. Parking is difficult due to how far it is away and the fact that there are lots of one way streets. no shower gel available, our room had poor outlook to the backyard. Breakfast in the neighbour restaurant, not the best value for money. 78 stairs to third floor. Nothing wrong. The Bed,. We booked accommodation in apartment where fridge is not working. It unacceptable for apartment.
