We have stayed only one night - so there haven't been real extraordinary experiences, but we were very happy to stay here. Big clean bedroom, personnel, silence, breakfast. I had an excellent stay at the Grandhotel, the room was very clean,comfortable and warm. Staff were excellent and breakfast was nice. I had a superior double and the size of the room was great and we had a nice big bathroom.
all reviews » We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms, which was not cheap but was very nice and a superb value for the money. The location was terrific, but then again Brno is not a very large city, so most hotels in the central city are well located. We had rented a car in Prague for side trips on the way to Brno and were pleasantly surprised to find that signs on the highway guided us straight to the hotel. The bedroom, although on the small side, was quiet, clean, comfortable and modern.Going to the Moto gp . Sightseeing in the city center. Good breakfast and coffee in a very pleasant room.Nice easy to access Hotel with clean rooms. Very large and luxery. quietness and overall comfort of the room, (but see below), attention by staff, consideration of cleaners and their overall service, breakfast on the whole, (but see below), free internet in the lobby . staff were friendly, accommodating and spoke good english. good location in respect of bus station, shopping centre. I'm not sure if all the double rooms were like this or not.No lounge sitting area with a comfortable chairs - only the bar and a few chairs in the foyer. No BBC World or Sky reception on TV in the room CNN is too focussed on America. No coffee/tea-making facilities in the room. not enough signs telling you where it is from say the central square when you are trying to get back there from a night on the town.Though a shower screen is in place, water is getting on the floor. bedding didn't smell fresh, as though mattress was too old, although cleaning otherwise excellent. Room did not feel air conditioned - was uncomfortably hot - and too bright, as curtains were too thin. Lack of non-dairy/soya milk at breakfast, as I cannot use dairy milk.room was next to noisy bar, hotel islocated in 'seedier' part of town. gsrsge was apart from hotel, had to be accompanied by a porter every time, very tight to get car in and out.Gym. Single room quite small. Slow internet. Cost of parking was far too high. Because it was near the train station, it was noisy at times. single room a bit too small. It is rather noisy. Only 15 parking spaces so make sure that you book one. Otherwise Parking is opposite the hotel, which is fine but I got a bit of a lecture from the desk staff about pre-booking!.

From the airport The City Bus No 76 will take you to the city centre (Main Railway Station) in about 15 minutes. Opposite the station you will find the Grandhotel Brno, From Fair Grounds Tram No 1 direction Hlavní nádraží to Main Railway Station. From the bus station Zvonařka The Grandhotel Brno can be reached in about 15 minutes by foot.
