We liked it very much. It's located inside the center so you can walk to every interest spot. And if you wish, it's very close to a main square tram station and also not to far from the train station. The rooms are pretty, rather clean. The staff was always kind and patient. Free WiFi, good bar, free breakfast. Nice atmosphere and great money value. Loved everything about stay. It makes traveler feel secure and like at home.
all reviews » The localization is just perfect, its on a pedestrian street that is full of bars, cafés and restaurants and all day long is full of people drinking coffe or beer or just hanging out on the confortable chairs. Its a very quiet and clean hostel, at least on the top floor where the double rooms are. The staff was very helpful with booking day trips to Plitvice Lakes, and searching trains and buses to nearby towns. Staff was awesome, gave us tips on what to see and on taxis to the airport, even taught us some words in Croatian! Room was great for 5 people, very clean, with bathroom inside with a nice shower and bed linen and towels available for every guest. There are also lockers inside the room. Breakfast was great and everything included in a very attractive price! We loved it!. Nice private rooms at reasonable prices and great money-value. Hostel is definitely close to hotel level. Located at excellent place and it offers lot of privacy. The best thing was the service - really helpful young people. They even offered safe-keeping of our baggage before and after check in/out so we get an extra free time without any worry. Really appreciate!. This hostel definitely had the most comfortable accommodations so we were happy for upgrade option to private room. The bar downstairs was not expensive at all and offered events are great way to meet other travelers and locals. The entire staff was sincerely friendly. Our stay was great and we could recommend Taban easily and possibly return again. By far the best hostel I've stayed at. I felt at home from the first minute I arrived, thanks to the fantastic staff. Taban is great if you love to party and meet people - there are many events, various type of live music. If you like visiting some particular Zagreb's special spots, the staff are knowledgable and happy to give good recommendation. Best location, great new and clean double private room... Was sceptical about Zagreb and Croatia at first but now I have totally different opinion.Special reccomendation of hostel staff, they found lost wallet with ID and documents and they were fair and quick in reaching me after my departure. Location was perfect, in the center of the city and 15 min walk from the train station.The twin room with bathroom was very small, but the staff moved us to a double room with no problem.... but it was off season after all! The double room had a good size, it was well decorated, clean and with a very good shower. This was a nice surprise cause I never took hostel as accomodation choice before. Don't know much about other rooms but comfort double was very big and clean, complete comfort, like a small scale studio. Best location ( walk-in to city centre) and next door-public garage. Staff was very friendly and helpful also. The hostel looked like a really nice hotel to me! The atmosphere (from the colours and decorations to fun) making the place really attractive. There's was a great atmosphere in the hostel during our visit and although the night was long we managed to get a restful night’s sleep. There was free Wi-Fi available at a decent strength, available throughout the entire hostel. Also, there are cams providing a sense of security. Completely new old town hostel with amazing facilities. Extra-clean and nice big rooms, mix of practical and stylish, and very comfortable. The reception is knowledgeable and friendly towards tourists and managment gave us a free upgrade. We have gained a great relationship!. We enjoyed Zagreb and Taban very much. Room was small but clean and warm, shared bathroom well stacked and always clean.. Hostel was great, clean, warm and nicely decorated and it seems safe with cameras and 24/7 reception. Staff went an extra mile to help us make our stay pleasant, felt like we were old friends. The Hostel is in the Center of tourist area and the staff is friendly. No Parking but only 2 Minutes walk there is a Shopping Center with big Parking and cost only KN 40 (€5.50) for 24 Hrs. Wonderfully clean, easy to walk to the old city centre, location is near historical-area. Wifi was working perfectly in the room. We will stay at this hostel again if visiting Zagreb!. It is very a very nice private room with four beds, and it is clean as well. The staff is very kind. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to the main square in the city centre. One of the better hostels I have stayed in. The big room with shiny bathroom, perfect bar with the terrace, ideally place for a quiet morning coffee or for an evening fun. Really nice hostel with great location and with a great bar that fills with locals on the right night. Lots of character in it. Staff was super helpful. Met a load of interesting guests. Facilities were all clean and functional. Cozy set-up. It does not have a lift, so if you have heavy bags, be prepared for some stairs. There were no black out curtains for the windows and there was a lot of light in the room in the morning. Everything was great. Breakfast was not top quality but it was optional and free of charge. Breakfast was a little to poor, but ok due to the price. Be warned if travelling by car, you must drive half round to avoid city center walking area. Tip: there is an unused empty space on the building, convinient for palcing a big "Hostel" sign, covering the main square arrivals. At first, you can see only the bar, I discovered Hostel in my second attempt :) Also, it is an opportunity for additional design exterior elements. Weather was unusually bad for this time of year. Additional breakfast choice would be great. we were on the very top floor in a private twin where all the linen was being washed and dried. Although it was nearly 30 degrees outside they used a heater inside to dry the linen so it was super hot. we had a fan in our room but unless you stuck your head inches away from it, it was no good. the other floors were a lot cooler. Breakfast was a disaster. There is no elevator - avoid 4.floor if you have heavy bags. Everything on the level. Breakfast. There's no common room (but the bar was adequate replacement). No elevator, a bit weak WiFi on fourth floor. Bar get's a bit noisy in the evening... Breakfast was no good and be served in a basement full of cigarettes smell. Nothing particularly... stairs (if you are staying in the 4th floor) :). Because the room is just on the bar, it is a bit noisy at midnight. There was some noise from the street but it was a weeknd night in center of town so it can be tolerable. It is on a very busy street full of cafes, bars & restaurants so was very noisy on Friday & Saturday night. Not ideal for anyone wanting an early night.
