Easy drive from the airport - hotel was very easy to find. Room was much better than we thought. Light and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Price was very cheap for a city hotel considering how nice it was. We arrived late and went early so did not have much chance to walk about. However, the hotel is conveniently located a couple hundred yards from the tram stop as well as supermarket, ATM, etc. The staff were friendly and spoke very good English. I would definitely recommend this hotel and.
all reviews » Nice rooms, very helpful staff. Although there is no bathroom in the room, it was rather comfortable to use it outside, because it was near the room. Parking in the yard of hotel is payable and only a couple of places. But there is another free parking, and you can see it right from the window. Nice service, big sunny room with big bathroom. Simple, IKEA like design well composed into old building. Nice surrounding. Walking distance to the city center. For those more lazy - quick access with tram. Supermarket less than 5 min. walking distance. Great place! We had just one set back: even though our room had a private bathroom, it was located outside of the room, across the hall (next to the reception). And also, the hotel is not located in walking distance from the city center, so, a ride by tramway is necessary. Noisy. Old wooden windows cannot stop the noise from the street. It was a long way from the city centre. We did get the tram which shortened it, but if it wasn't for the staff we wouldn't have known about the tram and would have walked for miles. No breakfast. The rooms are located at the second story of an apartment building with no elevator so definitely not recommended for people with mobility problems. The bathroom door could not be closed. There was only one big light fixture over both rooms of the apartment. The two rooms were not actually separated. The only issue are the white curtains making sleeping a bit difficult (but you can easily get over it). It's a little bit out of centre, but you reach it with the tram in few minutes. There was no free parking place for us but the staff recommended an other safe and free of charge place to park the car. a little too close to the street. No mirror in room. Street parking only. 1. It is not very clear (in english) that the Reception is at the second floor. 2. It is difficult parking in a very small area, only for 4 cars. Of all the rooms we could have gotten, we ended up getting one of the two that didn't have ac. My boyfriend wasn't too happy about that. Also, although our reservation said that a safe was available in our room, that wasn't the case. We had to leave our valuables in the staff safe. It turned out ok at the end, but still. Also, as you have to take a tram to get to the center of town, it wasn't as central as we would have liked. there was a plugging in the shower. Our room was very close to the info desk and you could hear everything in the morning from the other guests. No negatives. The water heater in my bathroom supplied the whole floor, flaming on and off constantly. (Only a small annoyance since you may close the bathroom door.). Our three bed room was a bit noisy. Our toilet was in the corridor next to receptionist desk. So we lacked privacy. nothing. everything was fine. nothing all good. On Sundays, church bells next door ring @ 07:00... A bit out of the way if you have an early flight/train. Our room was near the front desk and we could hear every word they say,also door on our room was nearly transparent and we could not sleep because of light from the front desk.It was very difficult to fall asleep because there were no blind curtains(they were stylish but transparent).All in all do not go there if You want to sleep.One other thing buy Your own soap because they do not supply this. Location did not suit me. The bed is not very comfortable. the "external" bath very weak wifi signal. Extreme noisy located just above a bar. The alarm also went off twice while we were sleeping and it took the staff a long time to silence it.The staff and their visitors made quite a noise just outside the room late at night.
