Greta Residence was everything we could have asked for for our stay in Zadar. Marijana was extremely helpful and attentive, offering tips on places to see and also some advice on how to stay out of tourist traps (e.g. with taxis and their pricing). She also very generously brought us a gift to celebrate our engagement. Finally, she drove us to the bus station when it was time to leave, something she clearly didn't have to do but did anyway, very graciously. The apartment itself is well furni.
all reviews » The best of the best! In my monthlong visit in Europe, Marijana and Greta Residence made my vacation! Not five stars, but ten!! The location is perfect, in the old town where you can get anywhere in five minutes, but also a quiet and peaceful location. It is just two minutes walk from the bus stop in the old town. I stayed in two different rooms, one with a private bathroom just outside the room. The owner, Rouza is also wonderful. With Rouza and Marijana I feel like I have found a home away fr. The location in the "old town" was superb. The apartment was well equipped, beautifully presented and very well maintaned.It has 3 bathrooms,more than enough towels, pillows and blankets. Bathroom with some little amenities (toothbrushes,soaps,shampoo) which never happens in apartments, and even an expresso machine in the kitchen. The thing that is really great is the garden. We loved dining in the nature. We were particularly impressed with the easy professionalism of the owners and their repr. Apartment is perfect by all facilities and location(it's situated on main promenad street in downtown). Rooms are spacious, clean and good furnitured. Special thanks to Marijana for hospitality,she is kindly helpful. In the end we even got present from hotel and breakfast for free. Pleasantly suprised. Zadar charmed us with unique sea organ, nice lounge areas and live music in the evenings. Zadar is definitly recommended to visit being in Croatia. I can not stress enough how wonderful this place is!! I prefer apartment style places to stay, this was extremely comfortable and Mrs. Rousha is very kind. Complete bonus was meeting our host Marijana, she is amazing! I travel often and have never stayed at a place where I have received so much hospitality, she's a very kind person. I will come back here, I had so much fun and I have nothing bad to say about this place, only great things!!. Just steps from the walled city as well as the sea. Perfect location. Stayed in a suite which was affordable, spacious and comfortable. New Bathroom. Staff met our car and walked us to the apartment. She was very helpful and gave us good recommendations and was fluent in English. We were able to park our car one block away at a reasonable daily rate. Super apartment. Rooms a very clean and new. Marijana is very nice and will help you what ever you need. Shes calls you one day before to reservate a parkingplace etc. The apartment is directly in the center. But its not loud! I got a free breakfastvoucher in a cafe next to the apartment. It was a pleasure to stay there.thanks a lot for everything marijana. Fantastic location, right in the center of zadar. The host is really nice, she brought us breakfast allthough that was not included. The room was also very nicely decorated. Everything was good, helpfull staff, clean rooms and really good location. Good value for the money. It's not a luxury hotel and we did not pay for that either. Excellent host, made us feel very welcome and was really helpful with our queries. Very good location. The room was modern and comfortable. Clean, spacious, proper ac although yu had to pay an extra 5 euro a day for it. Good location . A warm welcome. Very nice hosts! Excellent situation in the center of the town while very calm. The design of the room, fruits and water are given, cleanliness, welcoming. excellent location, comfortable and clean apartments, friendly staff. Nothing. There are no decent beaches in the city, however you can take ferry to the closest islands, where tourists can find tranquil and picturesque beaches. No fridge in the room. Would have liked to have access to cooking facilities but this was not available for the room that we booked. There is an apartment that has got cooking facilities. Hard to find actual building, you need to phone them when you get there to locate apartment. Quite expensive for what it is. Sheets too thin (the night can be cold if not in summer), the guy is over-familiar (embarassing if you're a woman).
