Absolutely breathtaking surroundings! We had been in Croatia and around the islands for over a week when we stayed here and tried many other apartment/hotel/rooms.... The views here were by far the best, the shared balcony was spacious and not cramped the shared BBQ seemed fine.... Any concerns about the bathrooms should he dispersed as they are very close and private across the corridor - just be sure to wear pants! Their restaurant however is 5* their uncle catches the fish and they'll serve.
all reviews » This is a wonderful place. With the most perfect location just a few steps to the beautiful sea - perfect for lots of swimming in a quiet and tranquil environment. And Bozinca and her family looked after us so well! The food at the restaurant is really wonderful and a great way to try lots of Croatian dishes - we loved it and would recommend it. We stayed there with our 3 young children and had a great time - the 2 adjacant rooms worked out fine and we could put them to bed and then enjoy a. We really enjoyed our three day stay in Tri Sestre and will return. The warm friendly reception especially made it easy and relaxed. We had dinner there on one of our three nights and breakfast on one morning - superb home cooking - the bread delicious. Family run. Easy access to nearby beach. Village feel to Suduraj with peace and quiet guaranteed. Ferry connections to Dubrovnik, to Lopud and Kolocep (4 times daily, I think) Family gave us a torch to help us get home by the pathway from the mai. The town of Sudurad is a quaint, small little fishing village and the apartments are just a short walk from the village centre. The facilities are fairly basic, but sufficient for a short stay. The view off the balcony is stunning. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the apartments as well and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on two of the mornings. The family who run the place are lovely and very helpful. PLEASE NOTE CASH ONLY!. Superb location, wonderful welcoming, friendly family, gorgeous view, Bozenca cooks delicious food & her husband makes excellent wine. Antonia has THE best smile & all staff are great. Water is crystal clear & only 1 min below balcony. If you can tear yourself away the little fishing port is only 10 mins downhill, or less along track. It is a steep hill to arrive with cases on a hot day, but worth it!. Seaview rooms had the most amazing view. Large shared balcony looking over the islands Jumping off the pier into crystal clear deep blue water was brilliant. Beautiful restaurant setting A small local beach is 2minutes walk along the track (although croatian beaches arent the best). The family who owned and ran the guest house were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful and made a nice dinner on their terrace each night. Great location. Great views, wonderful family run rooms and restaurant. Food was wonderful. Air conditioning - while there is AC in the house it would help if it were in each room. Bring Euros with you to pay for accommodation rather than paying in local currency - varying exchange rates - a small point. The walk uphill from the village if you arrive in the heat of the day. These small negatives are far outweighed by the positives. Basic facilities, no TV for instance. CASH ONLY! Not a problem but we had forgotten this and were nearly in trouble. Please note there are NO ATMs on the island and places we asked (a good few) did not accept Visa. This is not a problem as such but it is good to be prepared to have cash on you. The shower was a bit small and water sprayed on the bathroom floor. Wasps eating ripe grapes on the vines can be a problem in open air part of restaurant during day (NO problem at all in evening or in rooms or balcony) Family are trying to eliminate this. Bad smell in ensuite bathroom, only controlled by covering drain holes in basin, shower & floor (maybe a plumbing ventilation problem?) Only 2 relaxing chairs on superb large balcony for all rooms & no shade--umbrella & some more chairs would be fantastic. The room was almost too clean -strong smell of chemicals - not sure if it was the toilet flush or cleaning products. wasps in the restaurant- but they seem to be all over croatia. there is a bit of a hill to carry bags up tougher in the heat of the day. Having been told on Lopud there was a cash machine and then found there was no way of getting money. Needed TV as nothing to do at night. No Tv but internet worked finer. Sometimes stink smell from the bathroom/Wc, perhaps from the sevage system. There was bad smell in the bathroom. Bathroom was small. Balcony was shared with other rooms and that's because there wasn't enough chairs for everyone. No fridge in the room. They accept only cash. no access to fridge or tea coffee making facilities.
