Villa Tuttorotto stands out as one of the most memorable accommodations. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Rovinj. This boutique style hotel is tastefully decorated with a very homely and cozy feel. At times I felt just at home sitting on the plush sofas sipping coffee. The breakfast was SUPERB with a variety of choices- from prosciutto meets (various special Istrian types), sardines, delicious chocolate croissants amongst other pastries, eggs, mozzarella and tomato, yogurt, several ty.

She anticipated and met our every need, from making sure we each had a hotel-provided umbrella (if needed) when we left the hotel, to providing freshly-cooked eggs on the morning of our departure. My husband said they were the best eggs he's ever tasted! The rooms were spotless, but cozy at the same time, and the small staff made us feel right at home. The ocean/harbour view was incredible and the lobby was like a Renaiss. This is a small boutique hotel which was exceptionally well reconstructed in an old building. The small staff is friendly,communicative and helpful. The location is convenient in the old town off the main square. If coming by auto follow arrival instructions carefully to be able to unload luggage conveniently. We would definitely stay here again!. Well-located, most places in the Old Town are within a 10 minute walk in any direction; breakfast is not sumptuous but definitely very adequate and the service is warm and helpful. Great place to stay. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Everyone was very nice. The location of the hotel was perfect and the staff were very accommodating. the staff were all so friendly and helpful. great location in the city. Be prepared to climb upto 4 floors a few times a day because although there is an elevator, it is to be used only when absolutely necessary; the rooms are just a little on the smaller side. Getting to the Hotel was a bit of a challenge they did send us precise directions but not knowing the area it took a bit to finally get our barrings. Just need your patience. The hotel is very hard to find. initially hard to find. Difficult to find after dark, especially if you are driving and the open market is closed, thereby eliminating one of the landmarks used for directions. The directions had too many words to follow easily. We did not like the atmosphere of Villeta Giovani. I would not recommend this property unless they have finished furnishing it. A poor breakfast. Our worst experience in a hotel! We had got a reservation for three nights, but the last one…, surprise! Overbooking. The hotel took our luggage out of our room, and gave us two single rooms, but we were very sad and uncomfortable. One serious and professional hotel doesn’t do that with the guest. We are hurting and disappointed.
