We stayed for 2 nights in the biggest family apartment. We were very comfortable there. We had all the home comforts we needed and a balcony with sea view. The owners were very keen to help. There are plenty of quiet places to swim within a very short distance of the apartment (1 mins walk). Really interesting to watch all the yachts coming into the bay. We walked to the lakes and somehow managed to accidentally take a remote path that got us in for free by the small lake. I think we walke.

I would really reccomend to the owner to make photos of the view because it is fantastic absolutely! The place is so romantic. It was like a second honeymoon for us! By the way, when wwe just entered the room, the owner brought us the compliment drinks for us and very teasty panckakes for our baby. Mljet is a fantastis place in general and this apar. We were extremely warmly welcomed and we got our room in the morning - about two hours before the check in and we were served coffee on our balcony with a great view over the bay. We needed to do some laundry and we were offered possibility to use washing machine for free. X-Rooms is situated only about 150 m from the ferry pier and it's easy to find your way to there since there's only one road in the village. There's also a nice restaurant downstairs serving anything you need from early brea. Great location in Polace, which is a far nicer town than Pomena - we had to guess where to stay but were happy we got the right one! The owner does not speak great english but the assistant was very fluent and they both tried so hard to make our stay comfortable - even though this was the end of season and they must have been doing so for months. Whenever we saw the owner she was laden down with some fresh ingredients/food and insisted on sharing with us. We would definitely stay here again!. Very nice apartment (we chose the one with balcony and sea view). A perfect place if you want to relax and do almost nothing! The owner and her Family did everything for making us feel comfortable and "home". If we are going to Mljet Again, we will definitely choose X-Rooms Mljet. There is supermarket, car/bike/scooter rent, ATM and tourist info near the hotel. We had a wonderful three night stay at xrooms. The location was great, right on the Main Street and only a twenty minute walk from the lakes. The owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. The wireless Internet wasn't very strong in the room however it was nice to sit on the terrace and use it. Great location, superb restaurant and the most welcoming hosts! Irena and the entire staff have been immensely helpful (we experienced some transport complications in an out of the island) and really made us feel like they would do anything to ensure we are comfortable and happy. Lovely room in lovely location. Wonderful reception with huge thoughtfulness and generosity from drink to grapes and homemade bread. Totally recommend. The room we got was bigger then we were expecting, with a kitchenette which was a nice surprise. The owner washed and dried some clothes for me for free which was very appreciated and the view from the balcony was lovely. The location. The shower hanger was broken and the air conditioning machine was poor, but we managed to get a good sleep :). Wifi was a bit unstable. Nothing - great place to be. Internet coverage was only on a terrace. Bit noisy with restaurant downstairs. Aircondition was broke. Nothing. Had to take taxi from port. Bad WiFi. It was hard to talk to the owner because of the language barrier. Not like any of the other places that we stayed in in Croatia. There was unfortunately no late check out option which would be ideal because of the ferry times to Polace. The place was not spotlessly clean unfortunately and the other issue I had was that even though the reservation was taken using credit card details, the hotel only accepted cash which meant me incurring extra charges at the ATM. Very poor facility for an apartment. Why put 17 plates in a 4 person apartment but not provide a Coffee maker or a Coffee pot? Bare electric wires sticking out of the walls.
