The sea can be admired from the amazing large terrace, and the homely and personal atmosphere of the Villa combined with the hospitality of its owners will make your stay most enjoyable. The historic building is carefully equipped and the spacious rooms decorated with original and personal paintings create an individual atmosphere. St. John's Bread, figs, grapes, tangerines and olives from the garden are some of the blessings adorning the table of the guests. Lopud is only 9 km from Dubrovnik, bridged by 4 daily boat lines.

Lovely location just above the island's harbour, in an impressive well maintained traditional stone building.The family owners are very welcoming and professional as are the staff. Delicious fresh food is served and personal preferences are catered for. The family photographs in the library and superb original oil paintings in the dining room add to the ambiance. Meals are also served on the lovely balcony with it's vine covered pergola and gardens overlooking the sea.

Sun loungers in shaded garden to rear, and swimming pool for apartment guests which are a 1 min walk away up a few steps. Would defo return. Loved the library and actually managed to read a book during the 24 hours on the island. Very pleasant atmoshpere. Wasps all over the terrace!. Felt the hotel was not quite up to the standard we were paying for. Room quite small and shower OK for us but a big person would struggle!. The wasps at breakfast. Wasps. Orange squash for breakfast -unforgiveable! we are not children! Poor staffing levels meant 1 guy was doing everything on his own -manning the terrace bar ,replenishing the4 breakfast buffet, coffee pot etc -seemed to wait a long time for everything. I think it was a bit overpriced for what it was. Other lakes on the island charge much less for a similar standard.
