The lady of the house, Irena is excidingly helpful. When arriving at Hvar she came to fetch us from the bus station, which was really necessary, because in our group of four people two persons had limitations in walking, specially uphill. She also took us a couple of times down to the city center by car, as well accompanied us when we left. The scenary from another of the rooms to the sea was excellent. Mrs Irena also helped us to hire a car for one day. The car agency brought the car for us.
all reviews » This was our favourite stay in all of Croatia . Irena is the perfect host . She picked us up and told us all the information around the island . The apartment was spotless and lovely personal touches. Not a long stroll to the harbour etc . The walk was lovely. Irena even dropped our cases to the bus station that evening . Lovely woman and nothing was any trouble for her . I will be recommending her place :) we even got a gorgeous sea view and balcony . Irena is a wonderful host, always very happy to help out (she picked us up and took us back to the port and her husband went out early to buy our return tickets to Split). The apartments were in a very good spot (despite the hill walking!) for both the beach and town. Because we stayed over 7 days we were invited for dinner with the family and it was one of the best evenings we had on the island, lovely people!. This is a modern, roomy, fully-equipped apartment with a nice balcony offering a partial distant view of Korcula. The balcony also has a clothes line and cushions for the chairs. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi worked great. There's free on site car parking. The owner, who lives downstairs, speaks very good English and is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended place to stay. We booked in March, the night before we arrived. Irena immediately wrote us and offered to pick us up as soon as we arrive in Hvar. It worked. Great apartment above the old town, 10 minute walk down, 15 minutes up, partly very beautiful on the boulevard by the water. Great view from the balcony, very hospitable host, apartment cosy and without any problem. Beautiful city. Lovely Big terace and nice room and we were absolutely welcome with our dogs & the Barbecued fresh Fish was phantastic! Every question before and After booking directly Responsed & service excellent! Also it was nice for walks with our dogs and near the beautiful Beach! If we are allowed, we will be back next Year! Thank you for everything!. Irena is a verylovely person. She helped us to carry the baggages, gave us all the possible information about the island (festivals, restaurants, beaches... she is local). The balcony of the room had a great view of the city, especially at sunset. It is the closest apartment to one of the nicest beaches of Hvar. Irena's Husband kindly picked us up from the town which was really helpful. We also received a lift on our last day back to town with our luggage which was great. Irena and her family are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is close to a gorgeous beach which was terrific to spend the day by. Very good place to stay with a very friendly host. Our room was upgraded so we have more beds than we could use and a very nice balcony. Very good value and well located, close to a very nice beach with good restaurants plus a good walk into the main town which helps work off all of the squid. The apartments are in a great location with a wonderful view of Hvar and the surrounding islands. The staff were very nice and helpful, and they had beach equipment available for us to use (mats, umbrellas, etc). We had a great experience!. That arena picked us up from bus station and dropped us back there and let us stay overtime for 5pm ferry. She was helpful and friendly. Close to the biggest beach. I liked the apartment in general, and Irena (the host) was very polite, taking us to and from teh apartments. And the kitchen was very well equipped!. Lovely, specious, well-stocked apartment. The owner did everyting for my family. She found us another apt to be stayed for 1 extra night. She made rental a car for my family. I would definitely recommend this place to stay in Hvar. We stayed for 5 days. Irena's place was a perfect choise for us, travelling this time without children. Irena was sweet and very very helpful: she came to pick us from the Hvar centre, so we didn't have to carry all our luggage up to the hill, also she took us back down when we left. She gave us useful info about things/places in Hvar,as well as about timetables of the ferries, buses etc. And always with a smile! The seawiew from our room was great. A nice&peaceful beach was very near. Irena was very helpfull and nice. She made us lobster and spagetti dinner, very good:) close to the beach, but you have to go down a steap hill.and 10 min walk from town, also up on topp of a hill. But nice walk, good to do after to much to eat:) and we had the best view over the town:). Both bathrooms lacked hooks and places to hang your towels, beatyboxis, morning coats aso. These are minor things, but would increase the cosyness. There is nothing it was perfect. Probably would have gone for a slightly larger room seeing we were there for 8 nights. Not really a complaint, but the beach is a bit further away than advertised down a steep rocky path. It's possible to walk into Hvar town but it too is not a short walk. We have no complaint whatsoever. Getting back from the center requires 10 minutes of walking on an uphill road. It's a 15 minute walk to town but it's fine as long as you're away of it. It was good exercise!. A bit far from town but really no bother. Location was far from perfect, and the TV is very small and has no instructions / list of channels. The walk back from the town is hilly and you need to be fit after an evening out on the town. Nothing. Would not want to walk back to apartment in the heat. 10 minute walk up hill. Not bad in cool weather. All good. A few smaller pots in the kitchen would be useful. Have to walk uphill when walking back from Hvar town. Nothing. The walk from the city centre was on a bit longer side, but after dinner in the lovely downtown restaurants, it was just perfect to walk back. With kids it could have been a bit of a trouble. You could hear the people in the next room very much in the bedroom and bath room.but it wasent a big problem.
