food,position. Location, staff, food!. Very good breakfast with a lot of variety, nice view, well situated within Pomena. The nature is beautiful, and the hotel is located at the center of the village.Location is good both for the national park and for swimming. The price of the room does not match fully the level of service and accomodation. The breakfast is the same every morning, with no vegetables. The toilette in our room was smelling badly.Expensive for what you get, obviously taking advantage of being theonly hotel in or near the national park. Also the dock right outsidethe hotel seems to attract crowds of rowdy booze-cruisers, not reallyin keeping with the image of peace and tranquility used to promotethe island. Smell of the chemical toilet. Quite expensive. Noise of the boats. Package tour tourists.

Information about the area
The island of Mljet is situated near Dubrovnik, in a group of southern Dalmatian islands. The Malo and Veliko Lakes are the main tourist attraction for lovers of unspoiled nature. The Time Magazine placed Mljet among the 10 most beautiful islands of the world.
Please note that the entrance ticket to the National Park is mandatory to all hotel guests.

Hotel has 155 rooms and two luxurious two bedroom apartments.
Travelling information
Since our hotel is located on the island, you can come by ferry lines from Dubrovnik or penninsula Peljesac.
There is a ferry line from Dubrovnik to Sobra, Mljet every day. In preseason it goes once a day and in main season it goes two times a day to Sobra which is about 30 km away from our hotel. This trip lasts 2 hours.
From Sobra to our hotel we can organize a van transfer at price of 50 HRK per person.
Also there is a catamaran line from Dubrovnik to Polace (about 5 km away from our hotel). From Polace we can organize a transfer at price of 25 HRK per person.
From the airport to our hotel, we can organize a transfer which would consist of one and a half hrs car ride and another hour of boat ride.
Also, we could organize a transfer from Dubrovnik to our hotel by fast boat, but in order to make it very affordable, we would have to have at least 40 pax on board.
