While we had to phone (the number is on the door) to let the owner know we had arrived he came promptly and let us in. No 24 hour staff but lots of useful information (including a Croatia Lonely Planet for use by guests). Pleasant terrace with good views. 15 min or so walk to the old town (uphill on the way back) - there is a bus from directly outside (which also goes to the bus station).
all reviews » Friendly and helpful staff. As it os said, it os about 1 km away from the City walls but it is a nice walk. Moreover, it is located near one of the only places where you can park your car for free. It has a wonderful view in the terrace and you really feel like you are at home. It has some beaches nearby with a classy restaurant. Niko was a very welcoming host. His rooms are excellent value for money. Ours had a great sea view, which was fantastic considering the price. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Villa Odak to other visitors. Will definitely stay again. The host was very friendly. The Villa is placed at about 10 min walking distance from the Old Towns and from the two most known beaches Banje Beach and Sv. Jakovi. The bus stop is over the road from the villas entrance. Location of Villa Odak was excellent; owner treated us as a family. Great view of Dubrovnik old town from terrace; rooms were spacious and very clean. We would strongly recommend this villa to everyone. Wonderful host and cleaner (such a lovely welcome for our baby). Amazing view, surprise gorgeous meal meeting other guests. Taxi driver did not know it and 14 and 16 on the street are a long way apart so keep your eyes peeled if you are arriving by taxi - it's easily visible from the road. If you are a very high person (2 meters), you could have some difficulties in the shower. The bed. Shared terrace, not private with the room. Poor shower setup. Basic kitchen facilities with no kettle. Not always possible to find a nearby free parking place. A bit noisy in some of the rooms, because a main street is nearby.
