Previously owned by Dubrovnik nobility, this 18th century old villa is UNESCO-protected and renovated under strict conservation rules. A collection of antique pieces of furniture was brought from all parts of Croatia, reflecting a rich cultural heritage. It houses a fire place, piano and original Murano chandeliers. Divided into 3 levels, the garden is planted with orange, lemon and olive trees. Rosemary, camellias and lavenders surround a hot tub for a maximum of 6 persons. The external kitchen is fully equipped and lightened by a handmade bronze chandelier, with stone dining tables under a gazebo. Stradun Promenade, a public garage and the nearest beach are all within a 5-minute walk. The popular Banje Beach boasting Old Town views is a 10-minute walk away. The Villa Anastasia offers shuttle services, private excursions, boat rental and private driver at a surcharge.

Loved our stay here! We actually cried when we had to leave! We booked a last minute night here, and didn't want to go to our scheduled hotel. The family who maintains the mansion could not have been warmer or more accommodating! We were treated like family, pampered with a delicious Croatian feast for breakfast, access to the Jacuzzi- which we didn't know was even there- and were told to help ourselves to anything in the kitchen or bar. The rooms are gorgeous, and the views breathtaking. Right.

And the free breakfast was sooooo nice..the food was so sumptuous..and the food was even served in very expensive procelain tableware! When you first walk through their entry gate you think you are in a fairy land. The outside landscape is so beautifully designed you start to feel relaxed and calm immediately. We had our breakfast in the garden and morning breeze was so tranquil we didn’t want leave. The rooms are exquisite and very comfortable, the sheets and towels are high quality and they are so soft. The embodied bed pillows give such a special touch to the beauty of the room. The bathrooms are clean and you sen. The location of the Villa is great. Only few meters from the main gate (old city) but in the meantime there is no noise coming from the street or the city. Peaceful and highly realxing place! The owner and her staff were lovely. We received so much help about what to see and do from our hostess. The villa was the perfect place to relax in luxury and comfort following a busy day sights. Guests receive an excellent treatment; service is personalized and friendly and owners are eager to help in any way they can to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. You have to climb many steps to reach the house, so it may not be adequate for people with limited mobility, but the effort is worthwhile—and, of course, someone will wait for you arrival at the bottom of the stairs and deal with your luggage. She "fussed" over us a lot, which was well meaning, but left us feeling hassled rather than relaxed. The parking lot near the villa is quite small and expensive. A spot was not immediately available and in busy times could be a problem. The lovely, large bathtub and shower lacked a space to put soap and shampoo. The steps to get to the house. Tiny surgestion ,may seem petty but a make up mirrior in the bathroom would have been very useful. We sould have stayed longer. 80 steps. Nothing - it was all brilliant. Nothing. I loved my stay here.
