This apartment is stunning, very spacious, very stylish and a pleasure to be in, so much so that we didn't want to go out! Really enjoyed this apartment, after the initial confusion with shop downstairs. Nero could not of been more helpful, with recommendations of where to eat and organising a minibus to pick us up and take us to the airport, when we reluctantly had to go home! Will definitely be coming back too.
all reviews » This is a great place to stay if you are seeking to be in the old town. You will have to climb several sets of steps. It's a really neat apartment and a different feel, depending on what you are seeking. Nero, the property manager, is super friendly and helpful. He offers his assistance with whatever your needs are to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to stay. We stayed in Corneille apartment which is named after the Belgian artist and the place is very stylishly interior designed and furnished with his art and many funky objects and fitings. It had none of the blandness of many holiday lets - quite the reverse! Very well equiped and the owner's representative, Nero easily contactable by email or text and extremely efficient and helpful. Very central location and very convenient. The house is huge, nicely decorated, fully furnished, and clean and neat, with four en-suite rooms (each with bathroom), very big living room and dining room. Kitchen is modern and well-equipped. A nice terrace. The staff (Nero :)) is very friendly and helpful. We arrived very late at night but still received his very warm welcome. The apartment is fabulous. It has 4 very spacious, ensuite bedrooms, with really comfortable twin beds in each and a very large, comfortable living space. There is also a rooftop terrace with outdoor furniture. It is seconds away from the Stradun. It is extremely well-equipped and artistically furnished. I would highly recommend it. Loved everything! The apartment was clean, comfortable, modern and super funky. The beds very comfortable and super clean. And the highlight was the apartment manager Nero - he is fantastic! Very friendly and super willing to go out of his way to help with anything. Highly recommended. The apartment is just beautiful, with top-end furnishings, fantastic kitchen and a wonderful terrace for sitting outdoors and having dinner or relaxing. It is located in a great location in Old Town, with easy walking distance to everything. We would not hesitate to stay there again. We were thrilled with the apartment it was so funky, the pink gloss kitchen was great! The location could not have been better, so central and yet there was absolutly no noise at night. The only unfortunate thing is that there is so much to see and do in Dubrovnik that we did not get to enjoy the apartment as much as we would have elsewhere. Air con meant that we could clogs the windows to reduce the noise too. Funky interior and all mod cons included. We loved it and would go back!. This is a beautifuy furnished and unusually spacious 4 BR apartment that is literally in the middle of the walled city. It is perfect! The property manager, Nero, could not have been more helpful and makes this the finest accomodation in Dubrovnik. We were in Dubrovnik for our daughters wedding, the location of the apartment was excellent and is exactly how you see it on the website, amazing, 4 couples sharing we had plenty of space I would definitely recommend it. The most beautiful city :). the location was great, the people from the luxury apartments are so helpful especially Nero - they can help you out with everything including car hire etc. The apartment is really funky and located seconds off the main strip. Great apartment!!!. The apartment was very cool in interior, quiet though footsteps from the centre strip in the old town. Great location, the host extremely accomodating and friendly. The best stay in all of our Croatian trip. Nero, the property manager, went out of his way to assist us, including arriving at 3:50 AM the morning we left to help carry our heavy bags up the steps to the taxi. The room was fantastic! So stylish and comfortable. If you want to enjoy some luxury room in the center of the city, this will be the one. It was a really well equipped and well decorated flat in a fantastic location. Quite a few steps, but didn't bother us, helped work off some of the food :) Bar downstairs was a bit noisy, but didn't really bother us. No ice trays!. Depending on your needs, old town is enclosed by the fortress walls. Cars are not allowed inside, so if you rent a car, you will have to park it elsewhere. If you have a lot of luggage, be prepared to walk to the destination with it. Dubrovnik is all about steps. Lovely, quaint, charming, much photographed, steep stepped streets and alleys. This one included. We loved the free excercise! But be aware. Noisy at night cos there are pubs downstairs so we have to turn on air-conditioning every night. It is walk-up but in fact you can't expect there will be a lift in Dubrovnik. Top floor apartment so lots of stairs. 2 of the bathrooms have only a wall partially dividing them from the bedroom, so if privacy is an issue for you it may not suit. We had no problem...they are luxuriously fitted out. I didn't have a problem with this at all, but if you are an older traveller or sensitive to noise there is a bar below that is open until about midnight. The noise is barely audible with the windows closed but some might not find it suitable. Please be aware it is very noisy in the living space when the windows are open. The bedroom, however, was as a silent as vault. And while the noise could be bothersome, we actually enjoyed hearing (and joining in) the excitement that was taking place dpownstairs. So, not really a negative to us, but might be to some. Not a problem for us, but the stairs could be a problem for some people. That we couldn't stay longer. Taxi to the airport was about $50. Shuttle bus, a little further away, was less than $10. We were steared to the taxi. You have to walk up the stairs to the apartment. so if you have quite a lot of stuff to carry it might be a bit hard (= but not so much). and you have to clean up the garbage by yourself after the stay. The noise! All the rubbish from the local bars and restaurants is deposited outside the apartment block. The bin men would spend several hours from about 6.30/7am onwards clearing up the mess. Only problem with being near a cathedral is that it's bells start ringing in the morning. Bit of a hike with your luggage. Also didn't like that we had to dispose of our own rubbish. The 'double' bed was actually two singles pushed together which was a bit uncomfortable. I think if you're paying that amount you should be able to expect a proper double bed. Small shower A bit pricey considering you had to buy some basics - toilet paper, soap, etc. Sofa wasn't that comfy Hot water was a bit temperamental. Nothing. The hallways were dirty Bedding was inadequate Town garbage was piled just outside the door and as a result the odor of the garbage permeated the bathroom Most of the drawers were filled with cleaning material so that we couldn't put our clothing away All in all it was an unpleasant experience I would not recommend this apartment !!!!.
