Mahayana has a great location, just a five minute walk from the town center and beach, but just far enough away to not have any loud party scene keep you awake. The manager Cecile keeps the place clean safe and quiet with her machete (for trimming palm fronds) and her lovely puppy Maya. Like everyone else in Tanarindo, they are there to help or chat if you want, and leave you be if that's what you need. Maya was kind enough to lead me to the beach to frolic in the surf. Cecile gave good advice,.
