What can I say... It was the most unexpected surprise of the trip. We arrived in pouring rain, just tired of the trip when we were greeted so nicely by Javier. He took us to our beautiful suite and we were in awe when he opened the door. The room was a-m-a-zing! He explained everything, gave us some suggestions, and was present again by the time we trickled out of the room for some yummy breakfast! all reviews » The staff (in particular Jonathan, Javier, and Luis) were very helpful. The room was very large and clean, with a balcony that looked into the forest. The hotel is located on the road between Quepos and Manuel Antonio, with the bus stops to both places a couple of minutes walk away. From the beautiful breakfast area, we saw lots of monkeys and even a sloth. The breakfasts were very good with generous servings. Awesome!!! The room and the bathroom was very big, clean, nice and modern. The kitchenett was functional and free coffee was offered. The breakfast was great, with 3 good choices served close to the nature. The staff was very helpful. It was easy and cheap to take the bus just outside the hotel to go to Quepos or Manuel Antonio. This hotel has been the best on our Costa Rica vacation. The staff were amazing. They helped us with everything and tehy were really willing to help us. It was nice to discuss with them about everything. Clean well situated small hotel in a busy beach town; the rooms are huge and well appointed--a nice breakfast and in a jungle setting; visitors should be aware that it is not on the beachfront; hotels in Manual Antonio are not on the beachfront--but the beach itself if one of the best in Costa Rica. Matress saggy-not too comfortable. The road through MA is terrible and dangerous to walkers, hated it. Don't walk it, take the bus. The room had a chemical smell from the room cleaning.
