We loved this hotel. It is situated on a mountainside in the rainforest over looking a private beach. The hotel design is contemporary and quite beautiful with all the views. The pool was refreshing and the spa facilities well worth the splurge. Wish we booked a longer stay!. The space, the restaurant was good food...relaxed service (which is fine if u have no travel connections). Very attentive staff...Bella and Flores at front especially helpful. The room setting was magnificent..great balcony.

Have nothing negative to say;). Sea view is only available from the upper floors. The location is not in walking distance from town centre. The hotel is a bit far from town and you will either need to walk up several large hills or take cabs (which are relatively cheap). That said, the hotel is very quite. Hope you like white, because the inside and outside are completely white. Pretty expensive. The extortionate rate taxi drivers are charging. You do really need to get a cab into manuel antonio. It's a fixed rate between 4,000 and 6,000 colones depending on the driver. That would get you from one side of San Jose to the other! I used to work in the Manuel Antonio area and it never used to be like that. Diner in the restaurant was too expensive and quality was not too good. The restaurant costs were high even with the discount coupons. - the pool side furniture seems to stay out in the rain thus it looks a bit dirty. Location, staff, rooms, food. Nice large rooms in a too big complex.
