The owner made himself available with ideas of what to do in the area. For our drive back to San José, he sketched a map for us of the more scenic route. It was much better that the autopista would have been!The staff was very friendly and helpful. Villa was spacious and clean. A very pretty setting in which we felt safe. We had a car but there's a bus stop at the end of the road (2 minute walk). When booking, request units #5,6,7,or 8 if you want to face the pool and have a nicer view from you.
all reviews » Overall a very lovely place. Staff was helpful and attentive. Loved the large, open air feeling of the condo. Everything was clean. Breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend to my friends traveling to Quepos/Manuel Antonio. It's a small property, with a good pool. The rooms are large and have lots of light. The bus to Manuel Antonio Park & beach meets right at the end of the driveway. I like the open air feel of the little restaurant. The staff was very helpful - scheduled tours for us and picked great people, the food at their small restaurant was delicious, the condo was roomy and comfortable. The price was also great. very convenient to nearby attraction, restaurants,and activities. small facility made you feel welcome and a valued guest.parking was avail. and convenient to the room. The hotel gave us a huge room with a kitchen. Good air con, clean and spacious. Helpful and smiling staff. Near 2 good restaurants. The staff and owner were fantastic and extremely helpful. The location was perfect - right between manuel antonio and quepos. All the rest was nice (including Meg the dog :)). Great place we shall definately come again. The staff were friendly and helpful. Upon our arrival, we were in unit #3 which was on the ground level, facing a small garden against a wall. When available, we moved to the pool level which was much more pleasant (more expensive but worth it). You can hear some traffic go by, since it's located off the main road. If you want a sunset view, this is not the location for you. I sat by the fresh water spout in the pool and the clorine bleached out places in my black bathing suit bottom. Other than that....everything was great. The internet site said 2 bedroom and 1700 square feet, which is larger than my home. When I got there it was more like 700 square feet and one of the bedrooms is a futon in the living room. If I didn't have other expectations, based on the internet description, I wouldn't have minded. The place was perfect for the two of us, however. You really need a cab or rent a car to go anywhere. There were sugar ants in the room. Harmless though :). Breakfast too light! No wifi for rooms 1 to 4. You have to go close to the swimming pool. We were charged extra (approx. $30) to use the safe in our room. This should be included if it is already in the room.
