Room is what I expected of a budget hotel-small and no frills. Good internet. Good for traveling as buses and metro are very convenient. Easy to get to by Metro. Closeness to important shopping areas- Dongmen shopping center and Huaqiang North electrical/electronic center. Will use this hotel again if I do go back to Shenzhen. very convenient, just a few walks away from Shaibu Metro station. close to Dongmen middle road for street shopping and cheap grilled seafood satay and scallops. overall, room is much bigger than in Hong Kong, comfortable enough to stay, my air-cond and water heater works properly. towels and bedsheets are clean.
all reviews » Clean comfortable spacious room with good wifi on all floors. Location is great right near Dongmen street mall area. Also right near Exit A1 of Shaibu station, easy 3 stops (with 1 change) to LCC shopping plaza. Staffs English was minimal but enough to communicate. Lock box for security. Good price. Location. Location. Location. Only walking distance to the market, near metro, fastfood resto nearby, and the room was spacious. I booked a twin room and we get more than we expected. Clean, hot water, window and fast wifi. I would recommen this hotel to anyone with budget. My room was very clean and cute! It was comfortable enough and had everything I needed. It is right by a metro station, 3 stops away from shenzhen train station and the immigration check point to hong kong. The location was very good for me and the price was good. Near LaoJie Station, Dongmen Street, so much food resto around here. Very cheap & good enough. I'll came back again to this hotel in my stay in shenzhen next time. Although, there is language barrier, staff very friendly & helpful. Very good location - metro station and bus stop 10 meters from entrance. Lots of shops and restaurants around, pizza hut, KFC. Clean bathroom and room. Conditioner. Location! Near to MRT and just one step ahead to Dongmen Shopping Street. Staff was helpfull as we reached the hotel at 9AM but they allowed us to early check in. - friendly staff! - good location: very close to subway which makes traveling around in Shenzhen piece of cake. Also plenty of places for food around. The hotel room was renovated not long ago. It was really cheap and good value for money. It was an enjoyable stay for my 2 nites there. The staff were very friendly and helpful and acceded to all my requests. Garden Inn situated at a very strategic place for shopping. Value for money & good location, near to metro station. Some people said its close to EXIT A , that's true, but you have A1,A2 and A3 , ..so take Exit A1 than just 25 Meter straight , behind the bridge :-). love the location, extremely near to MRT station. food also quite easy to locate. the only thing I like is the location. Bed, linen, location, clean ok. Location , near Shaibu Metro. Location only. Location. Location. locaton. Room lack space for clothing. Furniture a bit old but OK. TV still the old type, big and bulky. Should change to new LED TV. All in all it is OK. Need to bargain a lot if you are buying from the local street side stalls. If opening price is 100, you can get it for 50. dirt is only found under the tables and in corners, if you are able to ignore those dirt, i'm sure you will still have a comfortable stay. Included breakfast was only a small roll and a small milk/soy/apple carton. Kettle in the room with cups etched but no tea or coffee. The staff can't speak English, and you need to give some money almost as much as you pay for bond, they will give them back when you're checking out. Do prepare your cash for payment, because if you use credit card there's 100 more yuan to be paid for using credit card. The quarters were very tight, very poor lighting for using bathroom mirror, many problems with the internet connection, and street is rather busy below but I chose to keep my window open and I can sleep through anything. You must pay for mineral water & other amenities. Bed a little bit hard. Smoke smell from lower floor but its okay. In my stay, a second after I came out from elevator, the elevator was broken & fortunately we dont trapped inside, so we used stairs from basement to F8. But staff handle it very fast, around half hour, the elevator was fixed. Staff speaks very little english. Breakfast - box of juice and roll. The bed was not comfortable enoug a bit hard actually. nothing negative to report. For the price I pay, there's nothing to complain. Also easy for food access. Communication barrier. The bed seems to soft (it tilted if u lay or sit at the corner). They didnt change the bed sheet and the bed is very hard. Breakfast wasn't good, with only small dry bread and cup of milk in the room. no internet for 3 days unbelievable small room very noisy. If you have the room to the street, its very loud ! No coffee or tea in the room ! No shampoo or toothbrush, but downstairs is a Watson store , where you get everything ! But honestly, this Double room for a price like a Hostel, yeah, if you want to stay cheap, than it's great !. the restroom was without door, only curtain :(. almost everything. Wifi service, customer service,. old Room , n smelly room. Staff really rude and unknowable because ask them anything also don't know... System really sucks as we have to reload our door card every time we go back to hotel and the staff never inform us. The hot water is too hot and too cold cannot adjust to normal temperature. The bed is too hard( cheap) and with wheel as it will move while you turn around. The pillow is too soft and cannot ask for extra pillow.. Hardly sleep well in this hotel. Toiletries n drinking chargeable. The toilet was leaking and even after telling the staff, they did nothing about it. The bed sheets, pillows and blanket looked and felt dirty. Wifi connection was terrible. internet not working, water staying in the bathroom,. Bad clothes, broken shower when booking was promised a free breakfast in the room, but the reception is only caused mocking smile, very noisy from beneath the windows of the road.
