The location is excellent for business travel as it is smack in the middle of Guangzhou. Travelling to and from Canton Fair is easy as they have a shuttle service. The also have registration for the fair at the hotel. the rooms are well maintained and room service is good. Internet is free but a little slow. very comfortable rooms and great for traveling with my co-worker. We appreciated the breakfast included with our stay and the shuttle bus to and from the Canton Fair.

Some staff do speak English but communication is still a big issue. the beds were REALLY hard...I got a bruise on my hip! the concierge didn't speak great English. This is very difficult when most of the city doesn't speak English, it would be helpful if at least the concierge did. This area is for business only not recommended for family's. Food isn't at par with the rest of the hotel. We had the breakfast buffet as part of the package and it was disappointing at least for Americans. the 'rude and unhelpful attitude of "one" of the Duty manager's ~ but all other staff and mangagers "were kind and helpful". the road entrance leading to the hotel is ugly. lobby is very small. Frigerator does not work, however they change one for us. no english movies like HBO, business men need BBC news and for entertainment we need english speaking movies. thanks you, i do hope you take my advice as I will stay there again I am in Guangzhou every month for 7-10 days. I don't like because I can't take only foot massage because you told me that I have to take spa as well which is cost me more than 300 RMB,thats so stupid I have been in many hotel in Guangzhou I never saw that,and second think which I don't like your price for buffet diner and drink at the lobby is too expensive.Thats 2 reason why I never come again in your hotel. Also staff at the night club were rude and poorly trained for customers' service... No swimming pool, only 2 treadmills at the Gym and it does not open till 10:00am. Bad and noisy location. The breakfast room is full of cockroach. The staff cant speak english very will and they dont clean the room at it is will be. Room Hotel Assistance Manger. The room they gave to us , 2 single rooms with twin beds , both had dirty fabrics such as curtains, carpets and walls , they all must be totally cleaned . Staff don't speak or understand English , difficult to communicate. There was a bad smell in all places in the hotel. Even in the Western Restaurant it needs to change the fabric of chairs. In general all fabric of hotel must be changed. I will never stay again in this hotel.
