Absolutely everything! Staff were helpful, courteous and friendly and were very knowledgeable regarding sightseeing, museums, restaurants etc. in Santiago and surrounding areas. Nothing was too much to ask for. Reception staff also had a good grasp of the English language. The location of the hotel is excellent, on the borders of the bohemian and business districts and most sites worth seeing are within easy and safe walking distance. To top it all, I found Santiago the most enjoyable city.
all reviews » The staff were the best hat we have encountered during our tour of South America. Both the day + night shift knew their business and looked after us very well. Breakfast was superb and I loved the fresh strawberry juice! The location itself proved a good choice. It is the other side of the river from the centre, but it is only a short 10/12 minute walk. The street is quiet, but it is only a 10 minute stroll to the heart of bellavista for the nightlife and restaurants. Mega comfy bed. Staff was exceptional. Responded to all requests beyond expectations including shopping around for better prices for a car service to Valparaiso. They saved me 45,000 pesos doing this even when I said the original price was acceptable. Additionally, the matters in my room was very very comfortable for a hotel of this price range. Overall, I was extremely pleased with Hotel Loreto and would recommend it to anyone. the best location for exploring bella vista, recoleta, la vega, mercado central, centro, plaza de armas, la moneda, parque forrestal, museo bellas artes, cerro santa lucia, plaza italia, and parque metropolitano. i walked to all of these places. strong free wifi signal throughout the hotel. This is a great hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful and makes you feel right at home. The rooms were comfortable. The continental breakfast was better than at hotels which cost much more.
