The staff was very helpful when our door would not close. very comfortable beds. awesome water pressure in the shower Personable staff when checking in, very helpful to myself and the couple who checked in before me. Location was perfect for where we needed to be. :). Very helpful staff hotel rooms are for the most part clean I had one which the carpet hada disgusting stain. It Iis clean other than the mentioned. I will continue staying there providing the rooms remain as clean as they have been.
all reviews » Rooms are clean, non-smoking rooms are very clean, no smoking is allowed in the lobby areas ect. Nice sized rooms for the price, and LOVE that windows open for fresh air, as I don't like AC all the time due to my asthma. All the amenities of a higher priced hotel at a reasonable price. Continental breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. Security was excellent. Have recommended to others. :). i like that this motel is close to shopping centers and places i normally visit and its a great value as well the staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Pets were allowed. Made the atmosphere more relaxed. Breakfast was included. Nice choices offered. The staff were always friendly. Everything. Roomsare comfortable. Staff is excellent. Carpets are a little dingy looking. It would be nice to see more hotels go to laminate flooring in the room areas to eliminate carpet for those like myself with carpet allergies. Motel 6 in Brandon, MB has no carpet, and it is a really nice place to stay too. Would have liked a small fridge in the room so I could have had cold water for the start of each day. Nothing. No shampoo. Heating system could not be controlled -- either too hot or too cold -- couldn't set a mean temperature. When asked, none of the staff had an answer or solution. There isn't fridge. It's a very poor breakfast. There is weak wifi brandwidth. The male desk staff..totally occupied with their personal electronic devices.Arrived 1/2 hour before "official" check in time- and were told to come back later.Went back later to learn we had no reservation- presented our confirmation from Booking to the young lady [who thankfully replaced the males]..she was unfamiliar what to do next-then I requested we contact Booking on their 800 number.Issue was resolved thanks to the young lady at Booking. Thank you !. 20 feet from portage ave, (very busy street), noisy, uncomfortable bed. Nothing. breakfast was quite sparse. one of the bed's the mattress well worn. Nothing. I prefer all the rooms to have a mini fridge & a microwave. unorganized at check in. night staff customer relations lacking breakfast way below our normal standards. Everything was ok. all good. no access to a computer/printer to print boarding passes for our flight. Staff - a little below par. Laundry - ok. Gym - nothing really seemed to work. Getting in the front doors with luggage was a struggle, no door stops to keep the heavy single doors open. The first room they sent me to was unclean, so I had to go back and get another room, the continental breakfast was barely average. The staff could have been a little more helpful with struggling thru the doors with luggage. that there was barely any cable tv channels, that the water was brown the first time I turned the shower on, that the cold water took forever to get cold in the sink, that the continental breakfast was garbage, that the booking was for $400 plus tax but when we checked in they tried to charge me over $500 including tax which was way too much. BED BUGS!! When I told the front desk staff they did not react other than to shrug and roll their eyes!. Couldn't take a bath, plug in tub wouldn't hold water Couldn't close door all the way closed Had to go looking for remote for TV Hair in bathtub and on plastic cups in room. they posted one price and when I arrived told me it was more, tub was cracked,. Specifically requested to pay cash at check-in and even got an e-mail confirming this from the hotel but it did not happen. Get rid of the meagre Continential Breakfast- it was an embarassment- don't bother- lower price a few bucks instead. air conditioner was broken and the toilet was loose on it's mounts. Unfriendly staff when we checked in. Just two thin towels with holes. Room cleaning just if its required. Breakfast not to recommend. Staff puts breakfast away while you are sitting there and eating. Poor selection. Horrible, dirty, no one told me it was a smoking motel! Ratty towels, toilet wouldn't flush staff was horrible! Was actually gonna sleep in our vehicle .
