The front desk was amazing, I was abit freaked out about driving to Niagara Falls and they reassured me that it was going to be easy, they printed a map aand talk me through it. This saved me 75.00; staff = welcoming and willing to go above and beyond. I love the beautiful lobby, lovely exterior, the three restaurant options, cleanliness of the room, love love love the shower & bathtub. I'm always hesitant to give reviews but for this hotel I had to, there's no reason to book anywhere else.
all reviews » the hotel had the Westin 'feel' with all the personal touches you would expect in terms of service. It also had the advantage of having an outside pool which made it feel more of a 'leisure' hotel despite obviously being a popular business conference event destination. The concierge staff were extremely helpful, I liked the green initiatives that were in place in terms of housekeeping and there were a few good shopping malls within taxi distance - Fairview, Shops at Don Mills and Yorkdale. I loved the five star treatment , I was surprised you are only a four star hotel Beautifully furnished room, large television and so many options of movies ect. I loved the choice to check out by television screen mode. I loved the luxury linens The breakfast buffet was very good with so many choices, there was a chef making omelets to your liking, Fabulous stay, The best hotel I have every stayed at anywhere. We loved the comfort of the room, the combination between the nature surrounding the hotel and the city location. The outdoor pool was really relaxing. The staff were great, in particular one staff member Clara was very personable. Also thought the bowl of green apples and citrus water were a nice touch in the pool area. I always like their breakfast and that is the prime reason of me staying there, every time i visit Toronto. A part from this rooms are very spacious and they have a good Japanese restaurent too. We were there for a company Christmas party. We're retired, but still go to the party. The whole experience of the dinner, the ambiance and our overnight stay went beyond our expectations. Lobby was beautiful. Room was nice, bed & bedding were very comfortable! Outdoor pool was great. Staff were friendly & apologetic when I let them know about minor issues. Exclusive sprawling estate. Having to pay for wifi. This is a total irritant. Free wifi everywhere in European hotels. No full length mirror. Terrible bathroom lighting for applying makeup. Noisy ac. Paying for parking and no free wifi. There was a big mix up with charges. They lost my bookings reservation, I had to show it to them and they still charged me the full rate. $256 instead of $130 a no one even apologized. Nothing. tv and channel selection. The internet, super slow and hard to log into in the public areas, and even in the room at times. It´s ridiculous hotels insist on charging extra for internet at these prices. They might as well include it in the hotel price tag. the noise in the morning because the renovations. No spa. nothing. nothing. No free internet. Charging for wi/fi. A wad of pink bubblegum left on the headboard! Rose petals on the bedside table. An annoying noise in our room that the front desk couldn't identify...they did change us to another room. $250.00 deposit.
