My experience at Cedarwood Lodge was wonderful - the innkeepers were incredibly friendly and interesting, the location was private and extremely well-maintained, and the suite I had, although not luxurious, had all the basics plus. The breakfast provided was wonderful (the homemade granola was awesome) and within hours of arriving, I felt like I had lived there for years and the hosts made it feel like a secone home. nice outdoor kitchen for breakfast and BBQ. The visiting to the Alpaca farm was very impressive.
A bit out of the way, but, that is what we like. Wildlife in abundance allaround. Owners very friendly and chatty.

inspite of the outer area the room was very nice. breakfast was good as well, very romantic surroundings. best sleep of our journey.

At registration the sign is "Please Ring for Service - Be Hopeful" Not a very good initial intro to this lodge. I almost left to find another place to stay.
The front Grounds are overrun with weeds and scattered with various junk-and I was initially wondering what I had reserved and already paid for a nights stay. The general exterior/yard needs some work. Very poor presentation to someone coming in to register.
