  BranCliff was so welcoming and comfortable. My husband and I were there for two nights with longtime friends who also stayed in one of the suites. The owner was most gracious and helpful making dinner reservations for us and answering questions. The attention to detail was lovely, from the linens to the deep set windows with stained glass trans... what people say » oms. The design of the suites with the loft bedroom was very attractive. Breakfast was delightful and delicious, served at 8:30 am. The location was - Former schoolhouse with tons of charm and yet our bedroom had a beautiful and soft designer (modern) Gluckstein bedspread. Bathroom mix of older style with very modern comforts. Nice mix of old and updated. Breakfast was plentiful in the dining room. I could see a lot of prep went into the breakfast with hand cut avocado and mangos. The only caveat is that because it is an "inn", you probably won't sit with other guests at the table and the host is more out in the back kitchen than speaking to

  We have spent 2 weeks in canada and this place was fantastic, easily the best breakfasts I have ever had. and we were taken care of, whilst being left to our own devices. I can not recommend this highly enough, we were tempted to stay there longer - The food was brought to your kitchen and was delicious. Very thoughtful, gourmet yet casual. The town with its wonde - I loved the openness of the room facing the backyard and the skylights and shutters. Access to Mr. Hughes Suite next to the parking lot was ideal. The main bedroom was well laid out and well lit. The house was convenient to the town for shopping and the festival plays. I enjoyed the use of the seating area, the landscaping of the back yard. It is pet friendly for one small dog, and I really appreciate this. I hope to return again next year with my Lhasa.
