We've never slept on as luxurious and comfy beds as those in our room at the Days Inn in Nanaimo. It was like sleeping on a cloud! (The mattress cover and duvet were down-filled!) Our room was clean and very nice, with a big-screen TV, air conditioner, coffee machine and lots of shampoo/conditioner, lotion and soaps in the bathroom. The Wi Fi worked well. In the morning, we were treated to a complimentary continental breakfast. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. We'll definitely s.
all reviews » Our room was clean and comfortable and contained everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The staff were most polite and friendly. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. After traveling for close to two weeks it was nice to have guest laundry which was accessible and clean. they even offered to provide the laundry soap. Great staff - perfect room for my business and sleeping comfort- convenient location for me to go and meet clients- relaxing pool and hot tub after some long days- great food at the on site restaurant. I liked the staff especially the young Chinesse women cleaner she tried her best to help me after my surgery with special needs equipment . Didn't like to leave such a friendly convenient location that made some long business days so relaxing and enjoyable. That for long stay people that you did not have comfortable chairs in the room. Thanks. I cannot think of anything. hot tub too hot-drop to 102 not enough selection at continental breakfast-too basic and boring toilet too small. We were not given the room we booked but did not ask for it while booking in, so we could be partly at fault. Did not fuss about it as the room was adequate. The hours of the continental breakfast are too early. On the weekends we like to take it slow in the morning and missed out the had to buy breakfast at the restaurant. The spider in the room. The building is tired and not in a very nice area of town. You really need to invest in adult size towels.... my towel was wet before I was dry. It didn't even wrap around my body and I'm not a very big person. Next time we plan on bringing our own towels, we are highly disappointed in your towels. Dirty underwear on bathroom floor when we first got our room. Coffee maker died. Service in restaurant was horrible. They didn't honour my BCAA. Breakfast started too late. Very plain,plain breakfast. Needs improving. We tried two rooms, both smelled musty / mildewy. The breakfast room was mimimal and located in the basement. The hotel was located in a rough neighbourhood. There were over-turned shopping carts and piles of garbage on the properties neighbouring the hotel and there was an altercation on the street that woke us in the middle of the night. Drunk 16 year old girl under our window arguing with the cops for an hour before they finally took her away - we wont be back, ever. Room smelt,, nothing like photo, tired , bathroom dirty worn out I did not gt a suite as booked ,. The bathroom fixtures, and Arborite panelling were a bit worn out, and the paint was very tired in the bathroom area. My key card didn't work right after I checked in and then I had to walk back to the front desk carrying all of my luggage to get a new one. Frustrating. The moment I entered the room I smelled mold.I was on lower floor. Bathroom sink took ages to drain. After half an hour I had an alergy attack which lasted till I went to bed. This will be my last visit.
