Everything is good! The staff is perfect, very kind and very helpful. The hotel is super great, very clean, the rooms are super spacious and beautiful, and we booked for a simple standard room, and when we arrived, we were upgraded to Queen Room ! The breakfast is an open buffet, delicious and with lots of choice! 2 restaurants in the hotel, very good, with good gastronomy. Location is good and quiet, but 8km from Lake Louise, so car needed!.
all reviews » The hotel is very nice and well located! People working there is very nice. You have to ask for new rooms. When we got there they gave us the key of an old one and it was awfull. No fridge, old tv'S... So we asked for an upgrade. Then the room was much nicer, but we had to pay extra money fot that. It looks like 2 different hotels, you have to ask for the new part. Great room provided (with Jacuzzi) and a mountain view. Location is perfect. The hotel experience was efficient and comfortable and just right for our special anniversary treat. A very nice pool and spa bath area (tho' popular and busy all day) 2 restaurants with basics were fine (pizzas and burgers)- good portions and quality and attentive service. The Lake Louise Inn provides good value. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable and the location can't be beat - within walking distance of all the attractions in the village. Food in both the café and the lounge was outstanding, with large portions. Lake Louise is the perfect centre for starting a trip into the Rockies. Great for lakeside walks and gondola rides. The hotel is perfectly placed for all these activities and for accessing the local buses for tours. Liked the friendliness of the staff who were always available to help and make visit a pleasurable one. As I was often at the hotel alone apart from when my teenage daughter was able to join me. Convenient to all the surrounding natural beauty without being in the center of a tourist trap. Not elegant but quite nice. Courteous staff. They gave us an unsolicited upgrade on our room. The staff at this hotel (from the concierge desk to the house keeping staff) were brilliant. Friendly, engaging, accommodating. The room was comfy with views in just about every direction. Front desk staff bent over backwards to provide comfort & safe walking for me with my leg in a brace. We were upgraded to a well equipped suite which was most cozy. The consideration given to us by reception staff when he realized original booking gave us a room on 3rd floor and we would have difficulty getting luggage up stairs. No higher quality restaurant (in fact Lake Louise is a bit limited for good cuisine unless you wish to pay premium prices) Steamroom out of use and swim and spa open only from 10am It would have been nice to have some small gesture from the hotel as we were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. Some of the common areas look a bit tired and could do with a "freshening-up.". Thought that some of the common areas especially the hallways near the lifts needed upkeep as that is a very visual aspect for visitors. Rooms are nicely done so this detracted from those efforts. Like most places in Lake Louise this accommodation facility was a bit over priced, especially considering it is a few kms from the lake itself. That aside, there is a great games room for teens and plenty of cute ground squirrels to watch from the balcony. Nothing at all. The room did not contain a minifridge.The dinning room THE LEGENDS is poor.The open buffet prime ribs is verry verry poor and cheap.It exactly contained prime ribs, mash potatoes,roasted potatoes,boiled vegetables, 2 salad plates, one carrot cake and one chocolate cake.That was exactly what was in an open buffet????. Carpets in the room could have been replaced because of stains/soiling. The cooling system was not good. Had to open the window to cool the room, then we were able to hear trains and traffic all night. Not good. Resteraunt food was ok, but would not recomend it to others as a first choice. We have booked with letsbookhotel.com in 3 continents. As we usually travel off season we frequently are upgraded. We were disappointed that although the hotel was almost empty the staff insisted that we must take a remote 3rd floor room without elevator on our letsbookhotel.com reservation. We had to pay an extra $20 a night for an elevator! As were had ski equipment, we reluctantly paid. Rooms were a bit dated and somewhat small. Lake Lousie area is very expensive and not worth it to me. Only a few places to eat. Fuel prices are high. The hotel is ok, but the Lake Louise area is overrated. Stay in Banff and drive 30 minutes to Lake Louise. Smell of room was unpleasant. Bathroom fan was connected to light switch so that bathroom fan was always on and noisy when using the bathroom. Lounge patrons loudness at closing. Having to climb a flight of stairs with luggage. The weekend we went was the last ski weekend of the year and unfortunately that meant young people partying all night. We were assured this was a one off and were compensated for the disturbed sleep. If there hadn't been the partying this would have been a great place to stay. It would have been nice to know that it was a party week end. Expensive for a basic room with basic amenities. Nothing... The fact there was no lifts up to the rooms carrying luggage up three flights of stairs. WiFi speed very poor. Cost is out of line for facility, but probably inline with the area... Construction of the building is not great. I could hear neighbors. Room too hot at night and couldn't fimd thermostat to control. Room was way to hot on arrival. didn't like the styrofoam and plastic cups. High price and need to check room location as some face into the pool area. no air conditioning. The restaurant was almost always closed. Everytime we went for dinner, only the bar was open. no complimentary coffee in the lobby. Should have a b&b package Starbucks outlet staff not very welcoming. space fell a little bit small. Had to go outside to get to pool and hot tub. the noise, the two beds which locked the room, the price - too high, the surrounding not attebded. low on tissues. For the price we thought the bedding was very old. We used the laundry facility and they did not work at all. It took us much $ to get the clothes dry. Others were having the same problem. Many things need to be updated. One room was too small and dusty with bad smell from the karate. We have asked first flore one ne'er the other but received second in different places. Stuff on checking was not "fraindly". Too expensive.CAD $450/ night without breakfast. cold on arrival, couldn't see mountains from where we were, breakfast was not worth the price. The electrical outlets in my room 2202 would not keep my phone plug ins. And the service in the restaurant was slow. One waiter was running around while the other waitresses doddled or seemed inexperienced. Higher priced. Way over priced, not worth the money. A bit run down. Outdated amenities and furniture, needs re-modeling. Old kitchen appliances. No air conditioning. Bedroom was small with tiny window. Table for two, even in the suite. Indoor pool area is dark, not inviting. rooms were small and dingy.
