The room in which we stayed was large with a generous terrace and a beautiful vantage point over the harbour. The French doors allowed us to fully enjoy the view and provided easy access to the outside. The staff were very friendly and informative. The salads and vegetables served in the dining room are grown on the hotel's own 3 acre organic garden, which is open for visitors to walk through.
all reviews » We enjoyed our stay at the hotel Pleasant staff, clean rooms wonderful view of the harbour, the valuted ceilings and large patio (we had a wonderful sunny weekend which added a little space to the regular hotel room. The furnture is a little out dated but that is in keeping the with the island zen ways Wondeful food .. bonus that it was in the hotel!. I liked the room, especially the tall ceilings. It was clean and quiet. The food in the restaurant was great. All the staff were friendly and very helpful with any requests. I would definitely stay there again. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. They grow there own produce in a huge garden area behind the hotel. Located in a nice setting with a view of the harbour. Lots of parking area. Good location, big comfortable rooms, I enjoyed the view from the rooms facing the harbour. Excellent restaurant with fresh organic products from the hotel organic farm. FRIENDLY WELCOME quiet,clean,comfortable bed,lovley view,excellent food ,eco-friendly,great musical entertainment while we ate dinner. Excellent location, easy access to Ganges. A jewel to enjoy . The gulf Islands are spectacular. There is a shortage of electrical outlets in the room and the furnishings are rather spare. There is no AC in the rooms thus beautiful French doors are the only "window". We would have enjoyed more fresh air while we slept. A fan is provided which does increase air circulation. There was nothing that I did not like. Nothing. there wasn't anything we didn't like. Annex location overlooking the garbage bins!. We could have used a small table for drinks outside and inside. No Movie or commercial free Channels on TV. CRT TV. lighting in the room. Stairs and no air conditioning. There was a muddle with the booking.Thru letsbookhotel.com we mentione a pet and two small kids therefore needing a pet friendly room and a cot but this didn't come thru from letsbookhotel.com apparently...worth checkingout the procedures your end I think!. I paid way too much. I wanted the BC Hydro corporate rate. Icouldn't get it because I booked through an agency. Go figure?. Having to climb two flights of stairs with our luggage. Being at the back of the hotel. Dirty carpeting on the stairs Safety concerns re fire. Going home.
