It was just myself and my daughter, so the room was excellent, the price was awesome, the bed was out of this world, GREAT sleep. We didn't spend a whole of time in the room because the weather cooperated and we were outside all day. The staff were very helpful, friendly, accommodating. It was my intension to stay one night but because we were enjoying ourselves so much we were able to get the room for an extra night. It was the best trip with my teenage daughter in a very long time.

Should somehow inform us when they have sport teams using rooms...they should put them all on first floor and in one area...running, yelling in the halls and they were not monitored in the pool area...and it was a nightmare!! I had to tell quite a few of them to stop doing things due to amount of young children around! The pool should be monitored when they have sport teams. We took a room on the train track side of the hotel and found the passing of the train unusually quiet (nice). Room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When there was a difference between the room rate on their system and our online booking request, they were quick to correct it. The desk clerk had all of our online booking information available at the desk. This is a very nice hotel to stay at. nice comfortable beds. staff were friendly and helpful. easy to approach. hot tub was great better than some four star ones. great location and easy to find. Canmore nice place to visit. easy walk to places from hotel. its easy to drive from here to Banff very convenient. I would stay here again. The king suite was excellant, well laid out, generous size, loved the fridge/microwave/sink/cutlery, great view. The complementary breakfast was excellant, well maintained and lots of choice. The pool was well kept and alot of fun for the kids. we booked this hotel because of the the breakfast plan - and were not disappointed. Also, the mini fridge and microwave in the room were more appreciated. The clean towels were plentiful, and pool area (although small) was great. just wonderful...the stay was magic and if i had the money would have stayed longer than a week. good service great king bed. nice brekky. and room was so comfortable.the pool spa and waterslide were bonuses. After talking to front desk about the room not being cleaned upon our arrival - I was impressed with how quickly we were given another room . Staff were very apologetic about the matter. Good value for money especially compared to hotels on Banff. Friendly efficient staff. Ask for room on Trail side. Back side of hotel faces freight train tracks. Our room had a great view of the mountains and was comfortable and clean. Appreciated having a frig/freezer. Breakfast was great! Even very good coffee!!. We were lucky to be upgraded to King Suite and this made our stay a highlight of our holiday!!! Loved the room, the location, the set-up and the village!. A short adult only time would have been nice. the continental bread fast was ok. but not diabetic friendly. need more protein items. all starchy food. except scrambled eggs they were ok. would have preferred poached. The carpets and some of the wallpaper was worn. we will be back!. brekky, which was included, was good but no variation in hot food. mini sausage and scrambled eggs 7 days in a row...... got a bit old . but no real complaints. Checked in at approximately 8:15 PM - room had not been cleaned. Self-serve breakfast was adequate but lacked variety. Didn't get to use the pool or spa as it was always occupied by too many people/children. By the 3rd morning the breakfast was a little monotonous - would be good to mix it up a bit with baked beans, bacon and boiled eggs. We also didn't see the information room until we booked out. It could be better sign posted as guest book in. Parking bays seemed cramped. It would have been nice if the fitness room had been open but that was beyond the hotel's control after the Canmore flooding. The 10 pm closing time for the pool felt too early after a long day of exploring around the area. Being in a way to swimming pool...1st floor close to swimming pool entrance. The pool water was too cold but it was OK,it has a hot tub. Having to go outside to get to the continental breakfast...it was cold. The pool and hot tub was always very crowded and loud with screaming kids so I wouldn't suggest if your looking for peace and quiet BUT it is PERFECT for families. My teen girls loved the 3 storey slide. That we couldn't stay longer.. Internet Wi-Fi sucked. It's capabilities are insufficient for a facility this size. Forgot to mention the TV remote was missing....no other issue. My husband thought the bed was not comfortable. The parking spots were awfully small. (to have the required number I suppose). Almost impossible to fit in with most people driving bigger cars or even trucks. Bathroom was rather basic. No hd tv , pool opened too late and closed too early. The pool area is very cold for small children (they enjoyed it anyway). None. The staff told us that letsbookhotel.com didn't fax them of our booking. The pillows. Regulating the room's temperature was very difficult. Unfortunately due to nothing that was their fault , the entire bottom floor was being renovated due to the flooding. I didn't care that there was renovations going on and it was difficult with young children to go from one place to the next and the small parking spaces. bed and the TRAINS passing by. I didn't like the lights were dead in our hallway and didn't seem to get fixed. they flickered all the time, very annoying. Room was not clean. Lots up dust built up on air conditioner & a musty smell in the room. We all woke up with sore throats and stuffy noses, maybe from the recent flooding?? Not sure. Long walk to my room. But there is nothing that can be done about that. The parking spots are far from truck friendly. 2 spots must be taken when driving anything bigger than a small car, unless you want door dings and scratched paint. the train sounds were too loud, we were aware you were near to A track, but right next to one makes for bad sleep. the bill, marketing fee and room tax? these should be included as was not aware of them. Breakfast room tables weren't cleaned, ever. Pool area small.....busy Parking. The beds were too soft and too high off the floor. Housekeeping ignored our do not disturb, walked right in looking for a child which we told them wasn't there..they insisted on looking under bed..no apology given!!. None.
