Large comfortable rooms. Ultra clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful indoor pool area with large hot tub. Awesome location in downtown Banff, within walking distance to everything in town. Parking underneath the lodge, in a town where there is little to no parking. We had a great weekend in Banff and will definitely stay at the Banff Park Lodge again. Comments: freindly & helpful staff excellent food (and good value) very comfortable room great pool & steam room most convenient location.
all reviews » the view of the mountains is extraordinary. the conference was in the hotel so easy access. The underground parking and again easy walking access to everything. the sink outside of the bathroom was great as well as the little fridge. The beds were excellent - very comfy Rooms were very quiet, you didn't hear hall way noise, or the neighbour's toilets flush. Well laid out rooms with lots of room for a family Location was very convenient. This hotel was clean and confortable for us...including younger to much older. Perfect accomidations while offering a great location, goid shopping and excellent seafood meal. Rooms were soundproof. The staff here were extremely knowledgeable of the area, and provided assistance in getting to where we wanted to go. This hotel was clean and all amenities close by. so quiet at night , we slept very soundly Room big and very clean. Loved to have the small room fridge for snacks and the 2 sinks. We loved the steam room and pool. The hot tub/jacuzzi was amazing! The view from the patio and the convenience of the patio was awesome! The room of temperature was good. Alot of pillows!. I liked the pool facilities and because they were doing renovations the hotel also included a buffet breakfast which was excellent. Updated decor, cleanliness, great staff, pillow options, easy walking to downtown Banff. Breakfast in the restraurant was a littel overpriced. The elevators were a little on the rough side. Hot tub should have been hotter. The drains did not drain properly/ sinks in bathroom. We had kids or teens knock many times on our door late at night and run away! The bed was way too soft. Soar back. All was perfect, I have no suggestions for improvement. Old TV's, Shower taps could not maintain temp at low flow. none. Bathtub cleanliness and front desk service could be improved. had to pay for internet. Main part of room could do with better lighting. No free Wi Fi. There seemed to be very little 24 hour parking available for vehicles 6' or taller. Nothing. Paying extra for parking, wireless & local phone call. No movie channel option. The location of the room 1st one was looking at the back alley, I asked to be moved, they said I was going to be moved with a front view but when we moved we still faced the back . Also pool could be open until 10. For kids. Pay for parking , Internet. I don't want to leave. no microwave in room. Like the idea of the car wash in underground parking, but Somebody had parked in the wash spot. WHat a minor complaint though. No free Wi Fi and have to pay for parking. Insufficient parking. The room was REALLY noisy. We had a room on the front and the bar across the street made for some loud pedestrians! Next time I would ask for a room at the back to alleviate this issue. One night was very noisy til 4 AM. had to pay for Wi-Fi and parking. price of dining buffet, way too expensive. elevator is too small. Over priced. N/A. Every time we asked for something there was a charge ie underground parking and a cot. starting to look a bit dated. Distance of room from elevator. My husband has difficulty walking. Should have requested different room. nothing really to dislike. The rather high priced room did not include internet service except for an additional $10 per day charge. This is definitely excessive and represents money grubbing on part of the hotel. poor service in lounge lack of staff. WiFi should be free. The fact that it isn't is an insulting money grab. Charge more for the room and include WiFi. Extra charge for parking.

The Banff Park Lodge is an environmentally friendly hotel that offers a variety of "green" programs. From energy efficient light bulbs to the installation of a roof made of mostly recycled materials, the Banff Lodge is one of the first hotels to implement an environmental management system.

In addition to their environmental programs, the hotel provides its guests with a number of modern and convenient facilities, including an on-site beauty salon, post office and banquet or meeting facilities.

Please note, the swimming pool will be under renovation 17-20 April 2017. Upon check-in photo identification and credit card are required. All special requests are subject to availability upon check-in. Special requests cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
