I spent 7 days in this family-run hotel, which is a real gem, in a beautiful spot on a foresty hill overlooking the city of Sofia. The rooms are newly-built and spacious, with simple and modern comfortable furnishings, very clean, peaceful and quiet, nice comfortable beds, great window views and good heating. They all have ensuite toilet/shower, which is very clean and modern. The water flow in the shower is great and, as a touch of luxury, the shower floor is heated. The hotel stuff had been v.
all reviews » This was my second stay here. The staff is great and the owner who genuinely cares for his property and his guests. The onsite restaurant is a dxestrination-type resaturant because of the great menu and the views of Sofia from the large dining patio. Rooms are soundproofed and nicely furnished. I plan on staying there for my return trip to Sofia next year. Great place, modern and spotless. Well-situated in the foothills but might be a little tricky without a car. View of the city and valley from my room was spectacular. Terrific restaurant on site with dining patio overlooking the city. Staff didn't speak English but it's their country, I should have learned Bulgarian!. The staff was very, and I mean very friendly and helpful. We arrived at 4 o´clock in the morning and were invited by the receptionist. The facility is for Bulgarian standard quite good equipped, cleanliness was outstanding and the view in the morning was amazing. I would definately recommend this hotel. Clean, quiet, lovely view over Sofia. Easy to get to from city, but far enough out to be peaceful. Both receptionists were pleasant and helpful (even though I have trouble with the language).
