Beautifully located on the Black Sea Coast in Balchik, the Lighthouse Golf Resort & Spa Hotel is part of a golf resort which was designed by the famous player Ian Woosnam. The hotel, overlooking one of the most beautiful sceneries in the region, features sea views and it is close to the club house, the golf academy and the road leading to sandy beaches. The Lighthouse Hotel offers luxurious rooms and suites, as well as apartments and villas in the ApartHotel, which is part of the resort. They all feature modern equipment, air conditioning and a balcony. The 12th, 13th and 14th greens are in the immediate surroundings of the hotel, making it possible for all guests to watch the game as there are panoramic views from the hotel at the golf course. Enjoy the full range of possibilities the resort has to offer – combine your business meetings with a golf course or join a golf game and unwind in the 3000 m² spa afterwards. Guests can benefit from sports and leisure facilities on site, including two tennis courts and a football field. Three restaurants, a piano bar, as well as a beach bar are also offered. The use of the spa facilities including a Finish sauna, a Turkish bath, a hot tub and a fitness centre are available free of charge for the hotel guests, as well as the indoor and outdoor pools. all reviews » The staff is very proffesional, nice and helpful. My sister (55 y.0.) stayed for 4 days here, asked a lot of help for diverse personal difficulties and said everybody was incredible nice and helpful. Nice indoor pool, prefect private beach and nice spa too :) I would recommend it for all people for relaxation, and especially to those not very used with international travel as the staff is very supportive. Very spacious rooms, well furnished(especially liked bath tub,bed and pillows) and very clean. Nice surroundings, lots of green spaces and a beautiful sea view. Spa/relaxation area very clean and well equipped. You can rent bikes and golf equipment for very cheap prices. Staff is polite and asks all your questions. Breakfast is abundant with lots of options. The rooms were big and confortables, big bathroom, nice spa, good food -especially for breakfast.All Inclusive option was worth it.Staff were friendly to us. Great spa facilities.The beach was a little bit far but they did provide shuttle buses.We will definately come back whenever we need to have anothe relaxing holiday. A cosy hotel, the room is spacious and has a nice terrace. Ideal for families with small children. The pool is fantastic, and was made to combine the needs of adults and of children. Far from city center(7-8km) and from the beach(5km). You can go to the beach with a shuttle that operates on fixed hours. You have to make a reservation one day before for getting a sunbed and umbrella on the beach. Outdoor pool water was cold, but indoor one was perfect. Everything ws fine, the water in the pool was a little bit cold sometimes, the enterteinment team were not up to standards, also during friday night was no life music as on the other nights, enterteinment was missing. For the ones expecting to be near the beach, there will be some dissapointment. There is a beach, but is far from the hotel and it doesn't worth going to it. In any case, you have all you need at the hotel. I totally recommand this hotel!. You have to drive 10minutes to the beach, expensive restaurant at the hotel. The breakfast menu was below the expectations for a 5 stars hotel;. - Water in the outdoor pool pretty cold - average food quality at the restaurant where is served "all inclusive " menius . I think better choose an a la carte restaurant. We don't have something that we didn't like... All were perfect!!. The spa & beach staff - not very familar with english, not responsive and ocasionally quite impolite . Evening buffet, next time we will choose the A La Carte restaurant. The beach is far away from the hotel. I can understand if more money are requested for sea view, but not for double bed.... The water of the outdoor pool was cold and we had to use the indoor pool for swimming. Nothing. Launch too expensive. Water in the pool too damn cold. Too far from everything. shower gel is not changed every day but every other day and is not enough because you have to shower several times a day. Nothing. Maybe it's me, but the stuff english is pretty bad. The beach is far away from the hotel and is poor, restaurants inside resort are expensive and with poor offer. Too cold water in the pool (and I am not very delicate about cold water!) The location of the beach bar near a camping and a free access area, that made the beach very crowded during weekends. only. thing toilet seat in room 137 needs oiling very loud. Nothing wrong to tell about this hotel!. The beach is not very close and car or shuttle of the hotel must be used. They do not change towels every that which was rather strange. The spa is very crowded. There is now roomservice after 11p.m. and nowhere around to have some food. The maintenance is poor. We had a broken wardrobe door in the room which was fixed three days after we alerted the staff. that they had a wadding (!?) inside the hotel until midnight, with no access to the outside pool or the restaurant during the evening, and, most of it, they had a very very noisy private party at the club house that kept us awake after 1 am. The staff of the Brakfast restaurant for three years I visit the complex, and they still don't speak english or are qualified for the job. The beach of the sea 5km far away. Excessive waiting whilst 'all inclusive' customers were served at the bar. Long distance to the beach. The staff wasn't connecting with the clients. - the front office staff was quite rude. the lady at the check-in and check-out (26.07 and 28.07). they can improve this at a 5* hotel. i work in this area for 10 years and even at 2* they treat their guest with more common sense. the water in the pool is extremely cold. they can do something about this - at a 5* hotel. Location difficult to find, very poor signage. it would be useful to put some signage on the right side of the road more visible. Food is ok but restaurant is not 5 stars but 4. some employees not very well trained confused us with wrong indications. Wi -fi signal very poor in the rooms. the lowest quality possible products used for manicure/pedicure services for a very hi price level. Nothing I did not like. Limited menu in restaurant. The ventilation systems is quite noisy if you're located near it. The SPA program ends at 20:00. The staff from the reception, the maid and the people from the "yellow" restaurant (from the resort, not from the hotel). You have to make reservation for the private beach with one day in advance or more than one day during the weekend. You have to book a seat and umbrella on the beach and might not be able to have one booked.
