Best Value and Location - 2009-11-25 I stayed there before and after the remodeling.... The rooms are all ready now, the pool and reception areas should be completed by the end of the year... Great location (best area in Sao Paulo for Shopping - walking distance), restaurants, service, free Internet wifi, and fantastic value... One block from Ave Paulista!!!! The newly remodeled rooms are something...queen size beds typical of what you find in the US. This hotel is really 4 stars.

Paulista on the right side, in Jardins with many great restaurants at a (safe) walking distance. - Great view from our 22nd floor room - Very clean room; seemed like extensive cleaning was done daily - Good variety of options at breakfast + great view from the restaurant (28th floor) - It was no problem at all to check out later (3.30pm). Location is great! 10min walk to rua agusta area w shops and restaurant.and close to av paulista. The breakfast with a view is a dure plus!!make sure you go there in the evening too,have a drink and look at sao paolo by night from above. Clean, spacious, good aircon. Pool to use (small) but still nice for the kids. Good breakfast (for brazilian standard). Location is terrific - in the safest part of Jardins but just a couple of minutes from Paulista Avenue with the amenities, shops and metro. Really good value for money, and it's quite nice having the kitchenette even though I didn't use it on this occasion. Staff helpful and friendly, though with almost zero English. The hotel is well located with very close acess to supermarkets and restaurants even fast food ones which are necessary when you are travelling with children.The staff even though they did not speak English were very friendly and went out of their way to assist us. Restaurant in 28th floor has good view. - The staff was a bit weird at breakfast: they didn't clean tables when people left, we had to ask for cuttlery, and when we arrived around 9.30 (breakfast is until 10) some things were already out of stock and not renewed. If you are planning on living there as an apartment-it is spacious, but the kitchen does not have a stove and no utensils. But fridge. Have to squeeze past the bed - literally - to get to the wardrobe. "Fitness centre" seemed to have had all its equipment removed. Pool is tiny. Dinner in the restaurant was poor, although the view is superb. No electirc socket by the table. Can´t complain about anything. Nothing worth complaining about. Wifi didn't work for two days, after a three hour blackout it started working again but you had to be in the right location to access a connection. Breakfast staff weren't as friendly. Window next to bed was closed, but had small slits so that when it was windy and cold, this travelled inside the room, although air-conditioning helped with that. Ordered what we thought was double bed but not available on check in. Cleaning staff was very slow in attending requests. Bathroom towel hanger was broken There was no dishware in the room They didn't supply glass cups. staff doesn't speak english. You will receive an empy kicken with two glases. Rooms are different from the pictutre. Internet is very slow with bad trafic. Rooms ending with 7 or 8 are in the vecinity of another building. Limited english spoken by staff. This is a very BASIC hotel, almost "institution-like"', it felt like we were staying in a hospital or a dorm, horrible rough sheets and towels, cheap furniture, bad mattresses, etc. The breakfast was very comom, not that big deal....just like the one we have every day at home. They forgot to pick up my laundry. Wifi Internet was a bit slow and unreliable. Receptionist was answering the phone while talking to me and failed to provide separate bill for minibar although he answered yes-yes to the respective question for 3 times!. Hotel frontdesk was under renovation while I was there. Rrstaurant on top floor Has mediocre food and Service. The room is very noisy - from pipes and from the outside, the whole day; I found a used diaper in one of the kitchen's trash bin; The Wi-Fi occasionally stops working for a long while; The breakfast is too simple for a 4 star. Poor service for the hotel staff we arrived at the closing time for breakfast right at the last minute and was impossible to have a coffe for breakfast very frustrating. The price for the room was a bit too high. Room needs a freshen up can only be described as functional. Poor service. Very poor restaurant service. I waited for 1 hour for my food to arrive, and left the restaurant without dinner. And the restaurant was half full!!. Breakfast service Facilities: No remote batteries. Poor English speaking staff. wellness area incl. pool is closed, staff doesnt (with small exceptions) speak english, long power failure, wifi is very slow, generally the hotel is pretty worn down. the refit activities are very annoying. Can not check in until 2:00 PM. I had to wait more than 40 min. Poor installations. No fitness center included in price. Breakfast sucks. Bad breakfast, the staff does not speak English, fittnes room is not included.
