Rooms were spartan but clean, bed was very comfortable (I like a hard bed), location is right downtown so you don't have to go far to get anything. Staff were as helpful as they could be despite a significant language barrier. Very good value for what I paid and would happily stay again.
bathroom clean and modern, staff very helpfull, felt safe. good breakfast. Ideal location for cruise passangers within walking distance of port.all reviews »
situated close to all amenities.
Nothing special. It's clean and well located.
Friendly stuff. Ok for the price.
Nothing basically. One thing that was all right though was that it
was one of the few hotels that were still available for booking in
Rio in just a few days advance. This, however makes me think that
even when it is hard to find a room in Rio, people still don't
want to stay there.
Stop of the airport bus nearby
Some restaurants nearby.
Location.
Breakfast was good but if you want something more substantial you need to go out. The seating in the two serving rooms was very limited. Hotel is mostly meant for locals I think.
Extreamly noisy outside if you have a room on the front. Major building work being carried out across the road.
all the steps up to the hotel.
I didnt like the staff.
Window view.
It is a very noisy place. My room was on the first floor and I could
hear everything - the reception, people talks, the street, etc. The night-
shift receptionist was watching tv during the night next to my room. He
agreed to tune it down only a little bit, and of course he didn't
speak English at all. The stuff was kind of disrespectful as well.
The city centre of Rio is empty during weekends - this hotel is recommendable for stays during the week, on weekends it is not in a safe area.
