Nice hostel located within easy walking distance from busstation, historic downtown and shops/restaurants. Nice athmosphere at the outside terrace, serving drinks and food. Friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms are what you expect from a hostel, bathroom is small and shared by two connecting dorms. Good location, clean, friendly staff and much interaction between guests thanks to good set-up. You can eat there at night with the other guests and enjoy some live music.

I really liked the atmosphere of the hostel, helpful staff with excellent English. Good range of tours also available. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly, BBQ was great, location was good - easy to walk everywhere, room was fine. large kitchen with fridge space to accommodate everyone in the hostel. free wifi and computer use. Modern, clean, great location, facilities and tours. Cool bar and cheap food too. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good location, good grounds and atmosphere. Small bathroom / not much place to hang or place your things. Nothing. The common toilets could be cleaned more often, there are just a few so it should be feasible. Small bathrooms. Internet only in reception. A few too many 'cool kids' staying at the hostel but you can't blame the management for that!. Screaming young backpackers at 4am. We had no water several times during our stay - staff fixed the issue as soon as we informed them however. Waiting until 2pm to check in. No wifi in the room, (but it is available in the common areas). A bit challenging to find at first, but once you know how to get there, the location is pretty good. The character of the hostel suffers from the big chain concept and the exhausting amount of rules. Bedrooms are quite tiny, bathrooms doesn't get cleaned each day so people can arrive in a bedroom with dirty bathroom. Definitely not recomended for those who wish to sleep! We were there just for tho nights and on both nights there were parties till morning ( 2 and on Saturday 5 am!!!). Some were playing table footbal just behind our wall at 2 o'clock in the morning and then some guys were drinking in the common area till 5. First time in our hostels history we couldnt sleep more that 3-4 hours per high. Not recomended for those are not there for parties.

PLEASE AVOID HIGHWAY RJ-165 (PARATY-CUNHA) Highway RJ-165 is one of the options to get to Paraty. If you travel by car, the GPS route will take you through the town of Cunha. However, this highway is in very bad condition and presents serious danger to drivers. A safer alternative to reach Paraty is the route via HIGHWAY SP-099 (TAMOIOS), going through the town of Caraguatatuba. You can check the complete route in Google maps.
