Very nice hotel. Very clean and neat!, My Room had a beaufitul view of the beach. Breakfast buffet was excellent! (hot and cold). The lobby is very pretty. Perfect for a two-three day getaway and would work well if the beach is not an option (winter) or just to mix it up before/after a few days at the beach. The area itself is interesting and from what I gather has some cool drinking holes and restaurants. One could start and finish a book in peace here, yet 'feel Brazilian', and not feel they need to join the flock of tourists seeing the usuals in Rio. I enjoyed spending time at the bar, restaurant and spa - perfect for a day of indulgence!

and LIsa. They were so helpful with recommendations, calling restaurants
and communicating for us. Just fantastic hotel staff. -

A well-equipped hotel in good location (close to beach and to Metro). Spacious room with sleeping and living area separated by a sliding door. Very good (though somewhat noisy) air condition, kitchenette, balcony, ... all you need, and very clean and quiet (except a/c). Good breakfast. Friendly staff, but not all of them understand English.
