  Really friendly and helpful staff on the front desk. Great location in Lapa and inbetween Cindelandia and Gloria stations. We had a double room which came with a memory foam matress which was really comfortable. There were 5 shower and toilet cubiles on our floor (about as many as rooms) which meant we never had to queue to use the bathroom. It... what people say » felt safe and secure. It was very clean. - Hostel is in good location , near city centro and near beach 10min walking .... There is kitchen where you can prepare some tea or some simple meal.... 24H reception and always friendly people ....really very good , I recommend it !

  Even though this hostel just opened a few months ago and is still finding its footing, its main asset is Barbara and Aline, the owners, both extremely nice, hands-on and helpful. - Staff were very pleasant to deal with. Location was great. Just enough edge but felt safe. Abit noisy, but we slept through.

  Christina is absolutely the perfect B&B with her santo mirante hostel. Perfect situation in Santa Theresa for French like me looking like Montmartre. She has put all her live in this small and cosy hotel. Probably the best view of Rio (pao de azucar and the bay). Really nice place. Christina speaks English fluently and gives us precious advice... what people say » . - The staff speak many languages fluently and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The room with a view of the Sugarloaf Mountain was fantastic, and so were the views from the common areas and terrace. Superb breakfast and awesome location just 2 minutes on foot from the Selarion Steps and 5 minutes from Lapa and the Gloria metro station

  Amazing view! Very nice location and neighbourhood Santa Teresa, even though the famous tram in the guidebooks does not work now, there are buses that go all the way up and the neighbourhood was a lovely part of Rio de Janeiro to visit. It's just 15 minutes by foot from Lapa and all the nightlife. We went to Rio Scenarium and had a great time. F... what people say » lamengo beach is also not far away by foot or bus :) - This hotel was well operated by young people. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. The room we had was huge with an amazing view on Rio The breakfast included was fantastic coffee, fresh made juices, toast, eggs, fruits, cake, ham, cheese. everything you need to start a good day!

  New Hostel only opened 5 months before so facilities are pristine condition. Stylish design, Staff wear casual but 'branded' tops. This is a classy joint in the 'cultural' area, don't be fooled by the aged outside appearance..the inside is superb. I also participated in the two free bbq nights during my stay and on two nights the guests were given... what people say » 2 hr 'happy hours' with free caiphirinia's ...awesome! Great atmosphere, pool table, internet, sundeck, library..The best Hostel I've ever stayed in - Supercool hostel with really nice staff. We were two people staying there for 9 nights. We met awesome people and had a really great time. May be the best location you could get during the carnival! Easy to get to Copacabana and Ipanema Beach. The design there is also really cool! We really liked that it has pool table, bar, kitchen, barbeque area and always free toilets and showers. We´re def. Going back!
