  The staff was excellent and very helpful, there was always at least one English speaking employee at the front desk, access to the Metro (subway) and bus lines was a piece of cake, and our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious.   We spent three nights at the R&C Santa Teresa and were very happy with our choice for romantic vacation. The room was very nice and very clean. The design of hotel is awesome. One could start and finish a book in peace here, yet 'feel Brazilian', and not feel they need to join the flock of tourists seeing the usuals in Rio. I enjoyed spending time at the bar, restaurant and spa - perfect for a day of indulgence!

Stuff are very helpful, they do speak English (I was prepared to resort to - Good location in Lapa, not far away from the Arcos da Lapa or Cinelandia station. A rather tidy room.
