The staff was excellent and very helpful, there was always at least one English speaking employee at the front desk, access to the Metro (subway) and bus lines was a piece of cake, and our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We will return to Rio in the fall and plan to stay at the Imperial once again. -

This was the most unique and sexy hotel I've stayed at. A delicious breakfast was delivered to our room every morning and the staff was extrememly helpful. But the best part about the room was the mirrors above the bed and the huge jetted spa with multi colored lights and once again a huge mirror above it!

The staff were absolutely wonderful in every way. They arranged safe storage of documents in the hotel safe even though it was not a usual service.
The house keeping staff are fastidiously clean.

We went to check in and there had been an issue with the booking as the hotel was overbooked. The hotel is near copacbana beach and very close to public transportation including metro. The breakfast was very good and delicious. This is a 4 star hotel. Do not expect luxry. Very happy with our experience in this hotel. The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom had bidet and a bathtub!!! VERY difficult to find in Brazil.
