I fell in love with the hotel the moment I stepped in. All I could wish for on a relaxing single vacation. The hotel is only 7 minutes drive away from the center, yet it is secluded enough if you dont feel like having a crowd around. The view from my room balcony was breathtaking, the room itself was spacious, neat and airconditioned. Cosy and picturesque Joao Fernandinho beach is a step away. I am definitely going back:).

Within a walking distance of downtown, however, it is a good 30 min walk along the beaches so it does not seem as long. We liked everything. It's so beautiful there. The room was comfy & clean. Breakfast was good. View from the dining room is lovely. All in all - good value!. The position close to excellents Beaches: Joao Fernandez and Fernandihno, are amazing beaches. The hotel has a spectacular view of both beaches. My favorite hotel in Buzios already for 20 years. Now even with perfectly working wifi in the rooms, which had been always an issue before. Great location, really nice bellboys, love the swimming pool. Beautiful surroundings. If you are visiting as a married (or loving) couple it is perfect. We always stay here. The hotel is located along two of the most beautiful beaches. But this time the room was dirty and had huge cockroaches crawling around. Services was slow and our room was not ready by checkin time 14:00. Beach towels old and faded. Garden dirty and not neat as you come up the steps from the beach. In total it looks run down. Wish I can cancel my booking for next week :-(. The staff was friendly. the veiw and breakfast. It was a bit complicated getting around since the staff did not speak much English. The thing that bugged me the most though were bugs and ants in the bathroom (to be fair they only showed at night time), but I hear they are everywhere in brazil. A late night beach party! albeit there was only one during our 8 day stay but it was the start of the winter high season!. The check in time is late. After long hours of travelling, you don't feel like sitting around. The reception staff was unpolite and quite harsh, something that shouldn't happen in 4 star hotel, NEVER. No internet in the hotel rooms, only in the reception. Too far from the center of the city. The pool was not really clean. There are no pool bar or a table tennis facility. Location View from the room. We didn't have hot water on the shower, although we were in an ocean front view room. When I asked the staff on the checkout they just said that there might be a problem an the guy would try to fix it in the afternoon (which means 24 hours after it started) The breakfast was not that good. too many stairs, not ideal for older people. The hotel looks nice, but once you stay its not a good experience. Deff not a 4 star hotel! I had a much better stay at the Coronado beach hotel. It Was not clean, pool not clean, toilet flusses bad, reception misused my credit card to pay something I did not want to buy, only internet in the reception.
