Separate bedroom and living room (can shut the door between them). Nice big bed (bigger than a US king). Very clean. Nice location (not far from the center). Room service was affordable by US stds (expensive by La Paz stds). Good internet strength. Nice balcony in some rooms. Good breakfast served until 10:30am and included in room rate. Nice warm rooms, hot shower, great water pressure even on the top floor. Good price for La Paz 5 star hotel.
all reviews » I have stayed there twice and am always so impressed with the staff. They seem to know everything about La Paz. We asked where the nearest lavanderia was and they plotted it on a map. When we discovered it was closed, they instantly plotted two more for us. They also speak excellent English. Restaurant has a solid buffet and good hours. Private taxi service waiting for you. I really like this hotel. This is an extremely comfortable place to stay. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. All modern appliances were available. The location was great, close to many restaurants and walking distance from the centre. Staff were very helpful, helping me with a few typical bolivian bureaucratic issues. Good value for money. We stayed in the two bedroom/tow bath apartment. Everything in the rooms was high quality and comfortable. Fast consistent wifi in the rooms Decent kitchen but missing a microwave Staff were excellent and speak English They have a private taxi service always waiting for you. Excellent breakfast. It was a huge apartment, with 2 bedrooms. Wake up with view of Illimani and go to sleep with the lights of this 3600 meters above sealevel city. Very extensive and healthy breakfast buffet. The reception really went an extra mile. The spa is good and not too costly. The staff was incredibly friendly. Travelling alone I booked this hotel to feel safe, and I did. The room had an incredible view. The prices for the spa were reasonable too even though I didn't use it. My stay in La Paz was unforgettable thanks to this hotel!. The 12th floor apartment was very comfortable with a wonderful view over the city. The staff were excellent , very helpful with good information. The location is more towards the residential side of town so walking to things like markets and restaurants is a bit challenging because they are far away from the hotel. The apartments are sitatued across the road from and openair music stadium and when there was a performance it was rather noisy. Expensive food prices in restaurant. Would have been nice to have heating in the bathroom. The bath was leaking a bit, nothing that a towel couldn't manage. Booked a treatment in the spa for both of us, but the oxygen machine was a waste of money. Did not work properly and was not relaxing. Couldn't discuss with staff at spa due to language barrier and front desk couldn't do anything about a discount. Some sort of alarm was going outside for two days which was very annoying. No microwave in kitchen; the general decor could do with an upgrade in some areas (tripped over the lift carpet a couple of times as it flapped up). Nothing was bed. I was charged for an oxigen tube 15USD. A bit far from main area but not a problem. 5* hotel with no double glazing on a busy street... Rude waiter. Old (but functional) bath/shower.
